Chapter 16: Admitting Feelings PT.2

"Good, you're done." He grabbed your wrist and dragged you out of the mess hall.

Once outside, you were practically tripping over your own feet. "Captain you're hurting my arm." You whined trying to pull your arm away from him. "Levi, let go of me!" You shouted, trying to loosen his grip, but failed. "LEVI!" He paused, his hand still wrapped around your wrist. "Please let me go." and he did.

"Why didn't you come back?" He asked, his back turned to you, anger in his voice.

When you didn't answer he turned to you, looking at you, still waiting for a response.

You didn't know how to word that you weren't ready to have sex, but you also wanted to slap him for thinking he could just use you to release his sexual desires.

"Well?" he took a step forward and before you knew it your hand went across his face.

"I'm not ready!" You shouted, his eyes were wide that you just slapped him.

"What?"

"I'm not ready Levi!"

"What are you talking about (Y/n)?" He took a step forward and you backed away. "(Y/n)?"

"I'm not ready to- you know..." he just stared at you blankly. "You know..."

"No, I don't." His frown came back.

"Sex!" you shouted and he covered your mouth, as scouts were walking around.

"What are you talking about, idiot?!" He growled at you.

You pushed his hand off of your face. "I'm talking about you wanting to use me to satisfy your sexual needs."

"What?" His face softened, "is that why you think I kissed you?" You nodded, then looked down. "(Y/n)..." He sighed, "I kissed you because I care about you," he tilted your chin up, "and because I- uh- I like you." Your heart began to race and it was like your body took over and your feet raised yourself on the tip of your toes and you placed a soft kiss on his lips.

"I like you too." you smiled up at him, and your heart skipped a beat seeing him smile back at you.

"Come with me, I want to show you something." He took your hand and you both took off.

Levi picked up some gear and strapped it in on himself, he grabbed your hand again and you went off running again. "Levi, where are you taking me?" you asked, now a little concerned at where you were going. Without another word he picked you up bridal style and shot up the wall.

Now atop, he placed you down and he walked to the edge of the wall and sat, his legs hanging off the edge. He turned back to you and he patted the ground next to him, inviting you to join him. But you hesitated.

"Are you scared of heights or something?" he teased.

"No, but I'm not a fan of hanging off the edge of the wall without my gear." You said honestly.

"Don't worry if you fall I'll catch you." You smiled and let out a small scoff at his comment and you took your place next to him. It was a moonless night so you could barely see anything in the fields. But when you turned to Levi, his head was looking up, so you did the same.

Stars, millions of stars filled the sky. You gasped a little at how beautiful it was, you've never seen the sky so full with them before.

"I come here by myself all the time when there's no moon." Levi said, still looking up.

"It really is something." You turned to look at him and he met your gaze. "Why did you take me here?"

"I promised myself that one day I'd share this with someone I cared about, and you're the first person I've ever felt was worth showing." You looked back up at the sky, to hide your face as you began to blush and you laid back, your arms folded behind your head and Levi did the same.

"Well, thank you for showing me this. It really is beautiful."

"Come up here whenever you want on a moonless night, it's always this nice and calming." You turned your head to look at him and you could only admire his face, he really has grown into a man, but you still saw that young kid in him at the same time.

"Did you really think I was just going to use you for sex?" He asked, still looking up.

"Well can you blame me?" He finally looked at you, "You did kiss me out of nowhere and continued to the point I was up against a wall."

"Don't forget you were the one that wrapped your arms around me and pulled me in." You sat up straight in embarrassment. Levi laughed as he sat up straight too.

"So what now?" You asked looking back up, "Do we just-"

"Join the Survey Corps." He interrupted.

"Levi, I told you-"

"(Y/n), you can't follow your brother around everywhere, you are the best in your class and you're even better than more than half of the ones already in the corps."

After a minute of thinking and staring at him, you were finally ready to give him an answer.

"When did you know you liked me?" You asked him as you stood up.

"What?" He now stood too and looked down at you.

"You heard me."

He looked in your eyes a little longer and he let out a small sigh, "I don't remember, it was either when you beat the shit out of that trainer, or when you beat the shit out of me, or maybe the first day I saw you hold your blades the same way I do." He smiled down at you.

"Fine." You said and he tilted his head in confusion. "I will join." He smiled and lifted you in his arms. You screamed as he lifted you again and jumped off the wall.
