Disaster Strikes

"Ah!" Wakko yelled as he was falling.

"No!" I shrieked and ran to the spot he's supposed to land. "I gotcha! I gotcha!"

"Aqua!" he held out his arms to me.

As I caught him, I fell backwards on the floor with Wakko tight in my arms. My eyes were squeezed shut due to the impact when I caught him. But I loosened my grip and opened my eyes to see him. "Uhh..." I sat up with him still in my arms. "You're not hurt are you?"

Wakko opened his eyes to make contact with me. "Whoa. You caught me." he smiled. "I'm okay now thanks to you." he wagged his tail.

"Thank god! Thank god you're okay!" I said as I hugged him.

"Faboo!" he said as he hugged me back. As we were hugging, the crowd cheered for the save.

"Aww, so cute." Rachel said as she landed.

"I agree." Yakko said while blushing.

"Thank you for saving me Aqua. You're the best." Wakko smiled as he pulled back from the hug.

"Y-You're welcome." I stuttered as I blushed.

"All this mayhem work is making me hungry. I'm gonna have some cake." he said as he got up and started walking to the banquet table.

As I got up and dusted off the skirt part of my dress, I was sensing something that seemed wrong. "Huh?" I looked around to see what was wrong, but I heard a snap with my ears and I looked up. I gasped to see that the ceiling stage light the Warners were swinging on was falling. And it was about to hit Wakko!

"Oh no! Wakko look out!" I was running towards him.

"Sis no!" Rachel yelled out.

"Little brother move!" Yakko yelled out too.

"Huh?" Wakko looked back.

"Move it Wakko!" I ran towards him and pushed him back hard just in time. But I got impacted by the lights hitting me. "Ahh!" I screamed out in pain.

~Wakko's POV~

After I felt myself being pushed by Aqua, I fell down flat on my back while closing my eyes tight. I heard a crash, and then a blood curdling scream. I sat up quick to see that Aqua was on the floor, with the stage lights on her. My heart stopped after I saw what happened, it was something out of a horror movie. "NO!!!" I yelled out. I got up fast as I heard the others run to me.

"Sis!" Rachel ran to try and pick up the lights that was on her arm.

"I'll help too!" I said as I was helping her take the lights off with the help of my siblings. The CEO helped too and we managed to get them off of Aqua.

Rachel gently laid her head on her lap, checking if she was breathing. But all I heard was heavy breathing which broke me from the inside. "Aqua, can you hear me?" I said as I held her good hand.

Doctor Scratchensniff got on his knees as he examined her. "Oh dear, her arm is broken!"

"No!" Dot was worried.

"I'll call Hello Nurse!" the CEO said as he was about to call.

"There's no need to call her sir. I'll take her home." Rachel said.

"A-Are you sure?"

"Yes. I know my sister by heart, and she'll make it. She'll live to see another day."

"Well okay." he said nervously.

"Aqua, wake up. Please." I sniffled and rubbed her hand. I was really afraid that I was going to lose my first love.

"Mmm..." she moved her fingers a bit. "W-Wakko..?" Aqua spoke out as she slowly held my hand back and opened her eyes slowly.

"Aqua, you're awake!" I was relieved.

"I-I am. What happened to me..?"

"You... you saved me, again."

"Is that so?" she flashed a weak smile.

"But now I feel bad. You broke your arm just to save me."

She looked down at her arm. "Huh, I guess I did."

"Why would you do that?"

"Remember when I heard you say you love me?"

"Y-Yeah." I blushed and looked away.

"Well then, it all makes sense now. All the puzzle pieces fell together in our latest psychological meeting. The girl you was talking about... was me. Right?"

I blushed so hard knowing that she figured it all out in less than a week. "Y-Yes. I really love you."

"Looks like I've got my answer after I confessed to you." she smiled as she slowly sat up with her sister helping her. "I better get back home and tend to my arm."

"Wait! I wanna tend to you!"

"Really?"

"Yes. Yakko." I called his name.

"One step ahead of you lover boy." Yakko said as he gave me the first aid kit.

"Can I see it?"

"Okay." she said as she careful gave me her broken arm. "Ouch."

"Don't worry Doctor! I'll help you!" I said as I continued my work. As I worked, my hand was holding her hand. 'Such soft paws!' my thoughts ran excitingly around my mind.

"Thanks Wakko." Aqua said softly as she puts her hand over her mouth while blushing.

"Be careful." Dot said.

"Shh." Yakko and Rachel hushed her.

I stuck my tongue out as I was slowly wrapping more of the gauze around her arm. As I wrapped, the looks of hurt and her whimpers of pain made my heart sink to see her like this. But I continued on until I tied the ends into a bow. "There"

"Oh my. Very good Wakko." Doctor Scratchensniff said as he was watching me the whole time.

"This should stabilize me just enough until I get home." Aqua said as Rachel helped her up her feet.

I looked down. "I'm so sorry that this happened."

"No, it's okay." she bent down and went to my ear. "You did the right thing to mess up the Chairman's party. He deserved it."

"Oh." I chuckled. "And about what I said..."

"Oh yeah." she smiled and kisses my cheek. "We can continue that tomorrow." she smiled.

"Oh. Okay." I blushed due to her kiss on my cheek. "I-I love you."

"And I love you too." she blushed red. "I'll see you kids tomorrow."

"Promise?" Dot asked.

"I promise. You won't regret it."

"Okay. See you tomorrow!" I said as I waved to her.

"Come on sis. Let's get you home." Rachel said as she held her hand. "Bye Yakko."

"B-Bye Rachel." Yakko stuttered.

"Okay sis. Bye Wakko." she smiled and blew a kiss at me as she left with Rachel.

I caught it and put it in my pocket. Once the action was over, we ended up getting the check from the Japanese producers which made us feel really really lucky. But I asked Yakko that if we can save it for something else and wait for tomorrow to use it. He said yes and I was hoping and praying that my lovely doctor comes back tomorrow as she promised.
