~Wakko's POV~

As we were all gathered around the living room, I sat on Aqua's lap and nuzzled her cheek. "Hmm~"

She giggled and nuzzles back. "Comfy?"

"Very." I smiled.

"The popcorn's ready!" Rachel said as she and Yakko were carrying trays of popcorn and sodas and served them to us.

"I can't wait to see the movie!" I wagged my tail. "So what are we watching?"

"Rachel chose this movie. Right sis?"

"Yep." she sat down as she picks Yakko up and puts him on her lap. "I chose 'The Nightmare Before Christmas.' I think you'll like it guys."

"I can't wait to see it." Dot wagged her tail.

"Me too." Yakko cuddles his girlfriend.

"Me three." I cuddled my girlfriend.

"Okay. Let's watch it." Rachel said as she pressed okay on the remote and the movie was starting.

As we were watching the movie, I was starting to enjoy it. I was eating my popcorn and cola as I was watching it. I burped after I drank all that cola. "Oof, excuse me."

Aqua giggled and clapped her paws. "Nice as always."

"Good one." Rachel gave me a thumbs up.

"Thank you very much." I took a bow and continued watching the movie.

As we were at the end of the movie, I felt itchy all of a sudden. I felt something there and took it out of my fur. 'Huh? What's this?' I thought to myself as I was looking at a blue shiny thing. "Hmm..." I looked down to see that my girlfriend was peeling all of a sudden which made me worry.

"What's wrong Wakko?" Rachel whispered. She looked at me while she was holding onto my sleeping brother.

"I think Aqua's sick. She's peeling." I pointed to her.

She looked down. "Oh dear, I think it's time for her to go into the pool. At some points she gets dry because there's not enough hydration in her mermaid body. She sometimes gets too dehydrated which causes flaking from her scales. So she needs to be in the water so she can get rehydrated."

"So these are her flaking scales?"

"Yes."

"Okay." I nodded and shook Aqua. "Psst baby, wake up."

"Mmm? Movie's over already?" she yawned.

"It is. But we should get you to the pool. You're getting dry."

"I am?" Aqua looked down. "I am. Well then, we should go to the pool."

"There's a pool here in your house?"

"Yeah. It's in the basement. Rachel built it for me." she said as she got up.

"I'll clean up here and meet you there." Rachel said as she laid Yakko and Dot down on the couch.

"Okay. I'll take my girl to the pool." I looked at her. "Let's go. Umm, where's the basement?"

"There's a door with a starfish on it."

"Okay." I said as I took Aqua's hand and started looking around the house to find the door. I saw the starfish at the front and opened the door to see a flight of stairs that leads down below. "It's dark in there." I said as I gripped her hand.

"It's alright Wakko. I'm with you, and I can see in the dark." Aqua said as she picked me up and started going down the stairs which eventually lead us to the bottom of the house. "Okay now for the lights." she turned on the light which reaveled a very empty basement.

"Huh? Where's the pool?" I got worried.

"Oh, you didn't see this part." she smiled and pressed the button next to the light switch. "Prepare to be amazed."

I heard something and then looked at the floor move by itself. I gasped to see the floor was splitting apart in 2! The next thing I knew, the floor revealed a really big pool! "Holy moly!" I gasped. "That's awesome!"

"I'm glad Wakko. Let me just turn the thermostat up a bit. I'll put it up to 105 degrees." she said as she turned the dial.

"Why so warm?"

"So we can all take a dip."

"All? As in me and you and Rachel and Dot and Yakko?"

"Yes." she smiled. "Here I go." she said as she dove in head first into the water.

I watched the water glow that same blue color the night of our first date at the beach. After the glow faded, I looked around to see if Aqua was around. But she wasn't. As I brought my nose closer near the water, I felt a pair of lips kiss me. "Mmm!" I blushed.

"Mwah~" Aqua giggled. "How was that?"

I laughed. "You got me." I smiled. "So I guess I'll need my swimsuit." I said as I took out my gaggy baggy and literally went inside of it. I took off my shirt and threw on my blue swimming shorts. I came out of the gaggy baggy and left it on the side.

Aqua giggled. "Ready?"

"Yeah. Cannonball!" I said as I jumped into the water and splashed in. I swam back up to the surface and took a breath of air. "Wow this feels amazing." I said.

"That's good."

"I've never been in a pool that has really warm water."

"Well I'm glad you're enjoying this experience."

I smiled at her and rubbed my hand on her cheek. "How do you feel baby?"

"Much better with you by my side." Aqua smiled and picked me up. She floated on her back and placed me on the middle section of her tail.

I sighed and looked down at my lovely mermaid. "You still look beautiful. You know that?" I said as I leaned in close to her face.

"I'm glad you appreciate me Wakko." she smiled and closed her eyes, puckering her lips a bit.

I leaned in and pecked her lips. "Mwah~"

"Mwah~" she pulled back and smiled. "I love you Wakko."

(You might wanna hold on tight to this part, literally 😅)

"And I love you too Aqua." I smiled at her. As I was about to lean in to kiss her again, I saw a fin circling around us. I gasped thinking that it was a shark. "Ahh!" I squeezed something squishy really tight.

"O-Ohh~" Aqua sounded out.

Then I heard a laugh. I looked up to see Dot there laughing. "Dot!"

"Haha you got so scared Wakko!"  she giggled.

"Not funny!" I said as I squeezed the squishy part more.

"W-Wakko~?" I heard Aqua panting. "You're s-squeezing o-one of my b-boombas."

"Boombas?" I looked down to see that I was holding one of Aqua's lumps on her seashell bra. I blushed super badly and let go of it. "Whoa! I'm so sorry babe!"

"I-It's o-okay. W-Wakko." Aqua said blushing.

"Ooh, that just got awkward." Dot giggled as she swam on her back.

Dot was right. I made things awkward between Aqua and I. So I jumped off of her tail into the water and swam to the edge. I pulled myself up and sat on the ledge of the pool, burying my head on my knees.
