Hot Springs

~Rachel's POV~

(A few hours later...)

I was home at the moment wondering what outfit to wear tonight. I was excited to go out with Yakko. He said that we were going to go somewhere with hot water. So I packed up my 2 piece red bikini and a towel in my bag. I went into the closet and was trying to figure out what to wear for him. "Hmm... what to wear..?"

"Hey sis? You excited?" Aqua smiled as she came into my room.

"Yeah I am."

"You should put on something light. Don't wanna be dressed up too fancy."

"Okay?" I said as I took out my casual purple dress and started ironing it.

"That looks nice." Aqua smiled. "The place you're going to is nice. You're gonna love it."

"I think so." I said as I threw on my dress.

"You look lovely tonight."

"Thanks sis. I can't wait to go out with Yakko. I'm so excited."

Aqua smiled. "I bet Yakko is excited too." her ears wiggled as we heard the doorbell. "Ooh, looks like he's here." she said as she went to get the door.

I brushed my hair and took my bag as I headed out my bedroom door. As I went down the stairs, I saw Yakko there. "Hey Yakko."

"Wow. You look beautiful Rachel." he smiled as he had his bag ready too.

"Thank you." I blushed lightly.

"So, are we ready to go?" he said as he took out his aviator hat.

"Oh, we're going to be flying there?"

"Yes. Since I have the address. But I can't drive a car." he shyly looked away in embarrassment.

"That's okay. I can fly us there. So where are we going?"

"You'll see." he said as he gave me the paper that had the address written on it. "Now let's get going."

"Okay. Hop aboard." I said as I got on my knees.

"Okay." he climbed on my back and wrapped his arms around my neck gently. "I'm ready."

I got back on my feet and unfurled my wings. "Hang on tight." I said as I started flying up midair into the sky.

"Bye guys, have fun!" Aqua shouted and waved as we started flying through the California streets.

As we were flying over the city, the lights were shining like fireflies below us. "Wow, this city is amazing."

"Amazing like you." Yakko said in my ear.

I smiled held his hand that was right on my shoulder. "You're sweet Yakko, don't you know that?"

"Yeah. I know that I'm sweet."

"You're sweeter than strawberry pie~"

He chuckled. "And you're sweeter than chocolate milk~"

"Aww." I giggled as we were still flying in the air and eventually made it to our location. As I landed on the sidewalk, Yakko jumped off of my back and puts his hat away. Then he dusted his pants off. "So where are we?"

"Look up."

I looked up at the sign that said, 'Beverly Hot Springs.' I smiled and wagged my tail. "This place is calling my name?"

"Really? I can't hear the place calling your name." he said as he had his hand to his ear.

I laughed. "You're funny Yakko." I said as I picked him up in my arms. "And really cute too."

"I was drawn that way for you." he smiled and wagged his tail.

"Definitely for me." I kissed his nose.

"Ready to have a good time?"

"Ready when you are." I said as I held his hand.

"Then let's go." he said as we went inside of the place.

As Yakko checked us in, I had to be in the girls locker room while Yakko was in the boys locker room. I went to my locker and took off my dress to change into my bikini that I packed in my bag. After I put my things in the locker, I took the key and placed it around my wrist. I brought my towel and went through the hallway and entered into the hot spring area. "Wow!" I smiled.

I've never seen the hot spring this big and beautiful before! It was like something out of a movie. I looked around to see if Yakko was around, but he wasn't there. So I sat on the bench and waited for him to come out of the room he was changing in.

"Rachel? Where are you?" I heard Yakko call my name.

I looked at him wearing his yellow swim shorts and waved to him. "Over here!"

"There you are." he said as he was covering his eyes.

"Why are you covering your eyes Yakko?"

"I don't want to see you."

"Why not? You have to see me anyway."

"Well I've never seen you with a bikini on."

"Well, you're going to have to get used to it boy." I patted his head. "Just open your eyes for me. Please?"

"Okay." he said as he uncovered his eyes and looked at me. "Hellooo sexy winged angel~!" he whistled at me.

I laughed. "Thanks for calling me sexy." I blushed.

"N-No problem." he blushed. "So are you ready to go in?"

"Gladly." I said as I was excited.

"Be careful."

"I will." I said as I dipped my foot into the warming welcome of the spring. "Ooh, ah ah..." I sighed sweetly as I was fully submerged into the spring. "Ahh~ It feels so good~!" I giggled.

"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself." he said as he sat on the edge and only dipped his feet.

"Hey, why aren't you coming in?"

"I can't swim. Remember?"

"Oh yeah. Wakko and Dot aren't with us." I remembered. "Hmm..." I started thinking. "Maybe I should have you on my lap. What do you say?"

"Really?"

"Of course. You're my boyfriend." I nodded and held my arms out to him.

"Well... okay." he said as he holds his hands out to me and intertwined his hands with mine. He slowly started going into the water and his expression changed as he was going a bit deeper. "R-Rachel..." he sounded worried.

"It's okay. I'm here." I said as I brought him closer to my body and sat him down on my lap.

"I-I can't stop shaking." he said as he was trembling.

"Just relax." I said as I placed his head on my chest and rubbed his ear gently.

Eventually, he stops trembling after a few minutes. He sighed sweetly into my fur. "Wow, this feels really warm in here." he said as he was blushing.

"I'm glad you're feeling better Yakko."

"Can we stay like this?"

"Of course. Anything for you." I smiled and hugged him as we were soaking our worries away in the warming embrace of the hot spring.
