~Aqua's POV~

(Earlier...)

As I went outside with Yakko, we were still talking about his feelings and concerns about his love life with my sister. "You're going to do great Yakko."

"So do you think that she'll like the bentox picnic idea?" he asked me.

"It's pronounced bento, not bentox. It sounds like a detergent for washing clothes." I laughed softly.

"Sorry." he said as he was laughing along with me.

Just as I was about to say something else to Yakko, I heard a scream. I looked to see that Wakko was running around in corals while he was flapping his arms all around. "Wakko?"

"Looks like he wants to fly."

"I don't know. Something seems off about him."

"We should talk to him."

"Okay. Come on." I said as I carried him into my arms and rushed down the stairs. As I made it to the entrance, Dot and Rachel were talking. "Sis, Dot."

"Sis, what's going on with Wakko? He went berserk and fled out of the movie lot." Rachel said.

"I don't know. Yakko, do you know why he's like that?" I asked him as I put him down.

"Nope. I have no idea." he shook his head.

"I-I do." Dot said.

"You do? What's wrong with him?" I asked her.

"Well..." she signaled me to bend down to her height and whispered. "Wakko may have accidentally listened to your secret."

"Which secret?" I blushed.

"The secret where you grow fins and flippers."

I gasped and covered my mouth. "Oh dear poor Wakko." my ears were drooping down.

"He thinks that you'll be mad at him."

"Poor Wakko." I covered my mouth.

"Ohh, so that's what it was all about. You're a mer-" Yakko was yakking.

"Shh." Rachel hushed him with her mouth.

"Sis, I think Wakko already knows about my fishy half." I told her as I stood back up.

"It's not a big deal. Is it?" Yakko asked.

"Well it is actually. I'm very sensitive to that secret. I tend to keep it to myself and hardly tell anybody it."

"So we weren't supposed to know?" Dot asked.

"Well since Wakko told you, I guess you already know. Yakko too. But it's alright guys. You're my silly friends, and I know you wouldn't tell."

"Cross our hearts and hope to eat pie." Yakko and Dot both said it at the same time as they crossed their hearts.

"I'll get some pies for you 2 later." I smiled at them and looked back at the wall, concerned about my little boyfriend. "I better go after him before he hurts himself."

"I'll take care of everything here until you come back sis." Rachel said.

"Thanks sis. I'll see you later." I said as I started running out of the movie lot. As I was outside the gate, I walked down the corner of the next block. "Wakko! Where are you?!" I called out his name.

I kept looking around, but there was no sight of him. "Man. Where is he? He's so short I can't see his red hat or his blue sweater." I scratched the top of my head. "I hope he isn't lost." I told myself in a worried tone.
