Part 101- Horror!

After clicking pictures and spending quality time at the village, it was their last day at the village and they visited Gurdwara Sahib. The next day, they came back and everyone got busy in their respective works. Mini started to get some new photography projects. Neil used to manage everything in her absence. One evening, Mini and Arya were watching a comic horror film together. As the film got over, Neil entered the house.

Neil: Oh, so isliye tum jaldi aayi thi. Sister's time?

Mini: Haan woh bahot din ho gaye the, apni Chhutanki ke saath bilkul time nahi mila. So, I thought, let's watch a film together. We had fun right Chhutanki?

Arya: Right! Chalo, mujhe naa bahot neend aa rahi hai. Good night.

Mini: Good Night.

She left. Neil was about to go to his room...

Mini: Neil, I was thinking, hum dono ko bhi kaafi dino se time nahi mila..

Neil: For?

Mini: 🤨

Neil: Okay, continue..

Mini: So, let's watch a film together.

Neil: Oh, filmy mood mein ho?

Mini: Very funny 😒.

Neil: Jokes apart, batao, kaun si film dekhni hai?

Mini: You suggest something.

Neil: Umm.. (he came and sat besides her on the sofa) jitna mujhe pata hai, good romantic films are..

Mini: Excuse me! Kisne kaha ki hum romantic film dekhne wale hain?

Neil: What? Toh kya yeh comic horror films dekhenge? Yehi dekhni thi toh mujhe kyun bulaya?

Mini: Wait. I will play a good film, worth watching.

Neil: Alright.

After a few seconds, the screen displayed "The Conjuring" (To those who didn't watch, if you are scared of ghosts, never watch it).

Neil: Oh 'The Conjuring'... Wait a second, THE CONJURING!!! Are you mad?

Mini: What's mad in it? It's the best horror film. Woh horror film hi kya jisme darr naa lage.

She sat on the other sofa.

Neil: Okay, but tum wahan kyun baithi ho? Come here.

Mini: Mai toh aise hi.. wait, tumhe darr lag raha hai?

Neil: Haan.. nahi nahi, mujhe kyun darr lagega? It's just a film.

Mini: Oh, is it? Woh disclaimer padhna zara.

Neil: Based on real incidents. 😯 I was saying ki.. saath mein movie dekhne kaa kya faida agar hum saath mein nahi baithe toh?

Mini: 😏Okay fine, I am coming.

She sat besides him. The film started. As soon as the supernatural events started, the fear began to grow. Neil looked at Mini and she was completely enjoying. There came the scene in the film where the ghost pulls a sleeping girl down by holding her feet. Neil folded his legs.

Neil: God! Pair kaise pakad liye?

Mini: Don't be scared Neil Oberoi.

Neil: No no, I am not scared.

Mini: 😒

Throughout the film, whenever there was a scary scene, Neil shouted with his full volume. After a series of fearful shouts and screams (from the film as well as from him)..

Mini: Oh come on Neil. Mere kaan mein dard ho gaya hai. Why are you shouting so much?

Neil: You can hear my shouts, and not her screams? Wow Mini Madam!!!

Mini: Tum chup rahoge tabhi toh sunayi dega naa?

Neil: Nahi ho raha mai chup, bolo?

Mini: Tumhe hona padega chup, bolo?

Neil: 😬 (whispered) Bhoot se zyada toh darr isse lagta hai.

Mini: What did you say?

Neil: Nothing.

Mini: Zyada naa smart mat bano. Chup chap dekho, climax is about to come.

Neil: Hitler kahin ki!

Mini: Darpok kahin ka!

After the ending of the film...

Neil: Finally!!

Mini: Such a fabulous film it was. Horror film ho toh aisi.

Neil: 😒

Mini: Darna kam karo Chef Neil Oberoi. Mujhe toh bada keh rahe the "Conquer your fears" aur khud?

Neil: Haha, agar aisi films dekh ke fear conquer hoga toh I won't. I am done.

Mini: Fine, I am going. Good night.

She was about to go...

Neil: Excuse me? Sochna bhi mat. Yeh jo bhi tumne dikhaya hai naa mujhe, iske baad 10 din tak neend nahi aayegi and you are leaving me alone. How dare you, Mini Madam?

Mini: Yaar..

Neil: How mean you are! Agar tum gayi naa, I swear mai bhi tumhe daraunga uss bhoot ki tarah.

Mini: Mai usse nahi dari aur tumse darr jaungi? Wow!

Neil: Haan yeh bhi hai. Please..

Mini: Acha, please vlease mat bolo, I am here.

Neil: You better. Ek toh pehle hi mujhe headache ho rahi thi aur..

Mini: Tumne bataya kyun nahi? What an idiot you are.

She sat beside him. He kept his head on her lap and soon they both slept. Next morning, Rani came..

Rani: Mini didi..

She saw them both sleeping.

Rani: 😏

Arya came out of her room.

Rani: 🤫Oh dekh kudiye!

Arya: 😯🙈aww!

They both started giggling, due to which they woke up and saw them.

Mini and Neil: 😶

Arya: (teasingly) Tum dono ne kaun si film dekhi?

Neil: Not again.

Mini: 🤭

Neil: What? Get ready, mai bhi aata hoon.
