The next day was their engagement, and the whole house was in chaos. Amidst all the whispers, chats and laughs, three people stepped inside the house. They were none other than Ashok, Meeta and their little daughter. As they entered, there was no one to be seen, but the voices could be heard from Mini's room upstairs.
Meeta: I think we should sit here. Sab log busy hain preparations mein abhi.
Ashok: Yeah, that's better.
And the voices, or better say, the blabbering increased a lot, causing Neil and Arya to come out of their respective rooms.
Arya: Offo!! Kitna shor machate hain sab.
Neil: God! Why is everyone being so loud?
Arya: Neil, dekho naa, sab kitna shor macha rahe hain.
Neil: Correct Chhoti Madam.
Arya: Chalo upar chal ke dekhte hain. Waise bhi, sab log Veer Balika ko ready karne mein hi busy honge.
Neil: Acha, aisa kyun?
Arya: Aur nahi toh kya? Woh bahot nakhre karti hai. Yeh nahi karna, woh nahi karna, aise nahi, waise nahi 🤯 too much.
Neil: 🤭
Arya: Aur ab tumhe hi uski help karni padegi.
Neil: What?
Arya: Tum abhi tak yahin khade ho, chalo naa.
Neil: Umm.... Okay 😬🤐
As they were about to move upstairs, they noticed Ashok and his family.
Arya: Neil, yeh log kaun hain?
Neil: Ek minute Chhoti Madam. Aap upar jao, I'll come.

She went upstairs. Ashok came to Neil and hugged him.

Ashok: Pehli baar, Mini herself tried to initiate interaction with me so... Humne usi din apni tickets book ki and kal hum Patiala aaye. Idhar hi paas mein ek hotel hai wahan ruke hain. Ab yahan aake mai usko pareshan nahi karna chahta tha. I still don't have any idea how she'll react...
Neil: I know Uncle, it is quite difficult for both of you. But just think about the fact ki usne khud mujhse kaha tha that she wants you to come here. This is the moment. Jab aap dono milein, toh past mein huyi sab baatein bhul kar, try to initiate a new beginning.

Everyone in Mini's room: (loudest volume) kahdhebskajdbskskksk (blabbering anything).
Neil: I'll just be back.
He went upstairs. Arya was still outside the room.
Arya: Kitni der lagate ho tum. Dekho naa, sab kitna shor macha rahe hain.
Neil: Sorry Chhoti Madam. Let's go inside.
And they saw everyone was getting ready for the ceremony, except Mini, who was just confused.
Mini: Yaar Preet sunn naa, dekh dress theek lag rahi hai yaa nahi..
Preet (busy looking at herself in the mirror): Arrey bahot achi lag rahi hai.
Mini: 🙄
Biji: Dekh Mini, yeh wali jhumkiya achi hain yaa yeh wali?
Mini: 😬Biji dono hi achi lag rahi hain.
Naeem Bi: Arrey Allahmari, tu meri bhi toh madad kar de. Zara bata, yeh acha hai yaa yeh? Idhar aa.
Mini was about to go when her dress entangled with her feet and she fell in Neil's arms (he won't leave her side). Their eye lock went a bit longer than usual because first of all, they were looking enchantingly lovely in their outfits, plus the fact that it was a very special day for them and their hearts were singing a different melody that day.
Arya: VEER BALIKA!!!!! NEIL!!!!!

Mini and Neil: 😶

Biji: Par humne toh kisi ko kuch kaha hi nahi.
Arya: Acha? Toh aap sab Veer Balika ke room mein kya kar rahe ho. Aaj special day hai naa uska, aapko jo bhi help chahiye, mujhe bolo.
Mini: Ohho, tujhe kya hua suddenly, my Chhutanki (pulled her cheeks).
Arya: Aur nahi toh kya? Tum abhi tak theek se ready bhi nahi huyi. Dekho naa, Neil toh kab se ready hai. Aur neeche guests bhi aa gaye. Sab log tumhare room mein kya kar rahe hain?
Mini: Arrey haan, sab log mere room mein... Oh haan, maine naa iss Preet Kaure ko bulaya tha meri help karne ke liye, sab log iske peeche peeche aa gaye.
Arya: Aur khud ready hone lag gaye. Aap sab log apne apne rooms mein jao. Chalo.
Biji: Theek hai. Jaisa humari Arya kahegi, waisa hi hoga. Chalo.
Arya: Aur Sukh didi, aap meri help kar do ready hone mein.
Sukh: Sure Arya, lekin phir aapki Veer Balika ki help kaun karega.
Arya: Neil hai naa.
Neil: What? Mai?
Arya: Aur kya?
Everyone went outside the room like "🤭", leaving them alone. They both looked at each other, resulting in a brief eye lock.
Neil: You... need some help?
Mini: Umm.... No. ☺️
She turned towards the mirror and started to wear the jewelry. He smiled at her and was about to leave when...
Mini: Neil....
Neil: Hmm?
Mini: Woh... Neeche.. guests, I mean...
Neil: It's him.
