"Whose car is that?"
Jeong Hyeok almost choked on the coffee he is drinking with his brother's question. Of course he would ask whose Range Rover he brought home last night. He was luckily asleep when he arrived the night before so it was only until the next morning did he saw the car before leaving for work.
"I have a friend who needed me to do something today." Jeong Hyeok explained.
"And that includes keeping the car?" Mu Hyeok asked again giving him a suspicous look. Jeong Hyeok simply shrugged and continue on drinking his coffee before getting ready to leave as well.
"The friend is a she, right?" he asked his younger brother again.
"No..." Jeong Hyeok denied, "What makes you think it's a woman? I have a lot of guy friends you don't know of."
He wanted to tease Jeong Hyeok some more especially now that his face turned red but he decided against it knowing that his brother is so transparent. Whoever the girl is, his only wish is that she would make Jeong Hyeok happy like how he deserves to be.
"If you say so, then." Mu Hyeok said heading towards the door again. "I would get going, good luck on your errand today."
Jeong Hyeok heard the hint of teasing in his tone so he knew his brother could see right through him. Luckily, he did sort of let it go as he heads to work.

"Abeoji, good morning...." Seri answered her phone springing up from the bed as soon as she saw the caller ID on her phone. Her father does not usually call her as most of the time, he summons her. So when she saw he is the one calling, she felt nervous and picked up.
"Seri, what are your plans for the weekend?" she run a hand on her face. It's too early to lie so she got up from bed and wore a robe while stalling on the conversation with her father, "I think I have something with Seo Dan, uhm, we wanted to go to Jeju..."
"As in a vacation?" his father asked as a surprise.
"Yes..." she lied settling on the sofa.
"There is this business conference in Busan, I was about to ask if you could go with Yi Soo." his father said. "Have you talked to him lately? I think his father also asked him to take you... it would be sort of an opportunity to form a connection between the two of you as well as business partners..."
Seri panicked as that would be in 2 days. She remembered how much she hated to say no to her father. That's how she ended up to be the obedient suck up daughter her brothers and mother hated so much.
"We haven't talked, I was busy settling in here..." she said lying again as she almost never spend time in the past few days in her new place. She was too busy riding trains to Daegu, biking and all the other things they did, escaping the reality with her friend but her father doesn't need to know that.
"I don't think I could go, Abeoji. I'm sorry." she said holding her breath for his reaction.
"I must say I expected this is still your priority." her father said making her stomach drop. She could hear the disappointment over the phone.
But she heard noise on her front door and suddenly she realized who it was, she turned to where the clock was and realize what time is it.
That's when she saw Jeong Hyeok enter the front door.
"You're awake?" he asked as soon as he saw her. She quickly made a hand signal to him to keep quiet, "Is there someone there, Seri?" his father asked.
"No, Abeoji... uhm, just someone from the building delivering uhm, take outs?" she said not sure if she is making sense right now. "Is he surprised that you're awake?" he said and she really wanted to just hang up.
