"I am really sorry for this." Mu Hyeok said meeting him halfway in the parking space where he is waiting for Dan as her designated driver for this event.
Jeong Hyeok just kept on nodding, getting the car keys from his brother. "You owe me this time."
Mu Hyeok nodded as he speed away from Jeong Hyeok, "I'll buy you dinner tomorrow!" he shouted.
The younger Ri laughed as he watched Mu Hyeok calling a cab to go to his 'girlfriend'. There has been a personal emergency and she called Mu Hyeok because she needs him there. Since Jeong Hyeok was around the area finishing his shift as a barista in the nearby coffee shop, he was summoned to take his brother's place in bringing Seo Dan home.
He sighed and looked at the event's place which is now blasting with party music. He realized how he missed this part of his life, his university also threw a graduation party a few days ago, it was not as grand as this one but he chose not to go because he now accepted this full time job in a coffee shop to cover for his law school. And to be honest, he'd rather study than attend these events but sometimes he wonders what it's like to have this kind of privelage.
He shrugged off his thoughts and grabbed the reviewers from his back pack and try as hell to study for the exam.

"You should thank me, you know?" Seo Dan said as they are in the restroom to freshen up. Se Ri gave her a confused look in the mirror, "Yi Soo has not left your side the whole evening.." she added and raised both eyebrows to her friend.
"Why should I thank you?" Se Ri asked acting all innocent.
"If I did not force you to go with me tonight, then you won't be able to meet him again. What's with the awkward vibe by the way? I did not know you two know each other outside those family gatherings."
"Huh? We don't... we only met... with our parents."
Seri fixed her hair praying Dan would drop it already.
"Don't you like him?" Dan interrogated. "He is perfect for you, I'm sure your dad would approve... he's clearly interested, Se Ri. By the way, when we go back outside, I should find Seung Joon, he's been asking for us to take a photo in the photobooth."
Se Ri just nodded, "Go, don't worry about me..."
"I'm not worried. I'm just saying, get to know him. He might be good for you, Se Ri. I could already see that you will thank me on your wedding speech."
She almost choked after hearing that from Dan but she is not wrong. He really is perfect for her. It was strategic. It was a given. She should marry someone whose future is as promising as hers.
It's not a surprise for her that her marriage would be arranged by her family. She knew this from her father's acquaintance and even her brothers' marriage which were decided by her father. It was a strategic move as well, so it's fair to say that she expected this but everytime she thinks about it, she wanted to run away.
Is this really the price she has to pay for being born with privelege? If she works harder than everyone else, would it even matter?
"I'll go ahead. Please stay with Yi Soo Oppa" Dan said and winked at her. She could just nod. she stared longer at her reflection in the mirror until a group of girls entered and that's her cue to leave.
Going back to the event, she could see everyone either dancing or drinking in groups. She saw Yi Soo still in their seat, clearly waiting for her.
