"It's him, isn't it?" he asked. "You're marrying Han Yi Soo?"
Seri did not respond and instead fidgeted with the phone on her hand. He looked at her and took a deep breath.
"I'll fix our things." he said taking a step back to help himself calm down. "Then I'll heat the take out for dinner."
Jeong Hyeok then hurriedly pulled away before he continued, "You can call him back, I'm sure he wants to hear from you."
Seri looked at him and nodded in response as she doesn't want to engage any further. She waited for him to go inside and close the sliding door before she released her breath which she did not know she was holding the whole time. She looked back at the ocean which was calmer a while ago and sighed.
She then took out her phone and dialed Yi Soo's number. Jeong Hyeok was right anyways. He probably wants to know where she was.
"Oppa..." she called for him as soon as he picks up. It did not take three rings before he picked up and so Seri confirmed he was waiting for her call. He messaged her earlier to enjoy and to let him know if she landed safely in Jeju but of course, she forgot to.
"Have you landed?" he asked to which she just simply answered yes to. It will probably be safer to give out lesser information and details as possible. In that way, techically no lies will be made and this will be less complicated as possible. It will soon be over anyway, it's not like she'll keep meeting Jeong Hyeok.
"Is Seo Dan there with you?" he asked. Seri looked around and saw Jeong Hyeok bringing her stuff in the other bedroom not even throwing her a glance. "Yes, she's busy with her things."
"I'm also on my way to Busan. I'm in the airport now." he mentioned. "You're flying?" she asked.
"Yes, your father wants me to meet some business partners for dinner later so it will be faster to reach there by taking an airplane." he explained.
She just made a sound as agreement. "I should probably go, I don't want Seo Dan to fix all the things here..."
"Seri, can I talk to Dan?" he asked out of a sudden.
Seri froze, she did not expect him to ask for Dan. They aren't that close anyways, why would he suddenly ask for her?
"Why?" she asked trying to push back the request but instead of answering he just said, "Nevermind, sorry, I just wanted to say hi but that's not... uhm, I'll see you in 4 days then."
"Okay, oppa." she answered as she held her breath again as if that would help with anything.
Jeong Hyeok has now changed into casual clothes and is working on the kitchen with a straight face. Seri thought of approaching him but she decided against it and just opted to take a quick shower to give him some space.

He saw her enter her bedroom which is beside his. He wasn't expecting them to share a room or anything but it kind of disappoints him that she just kind of accepted his proposal to take the other room. He would be lying if he would say he doesn't want to be close to her in every way possible. He wanted to make the most of the days, the hours and down to the minutes but it is getting harder to not be affected by their situation.
He finished preparing the food they bought for dinner and so he turned the television on to check what is on right now but he knew it was for distraction purposes only. He's not really interested with the drama on the tv right now, he just wanted to stop thinking.
But he couldn't and so he finally gave in to what he has been dying to do since he saw his name on her phone screen. He got his phone and turned on the mobile data to check on the browser. He typed on the search engine- Han Yi Soo.
