"Do you think we're almost there??" Seri asked while catching her breath as Jeong Hyeok stops to check on her.

"Are you regretting this already?" he asked with a smug face which made Seri roll her eyes on him. She stopped too and looked above the sky. She could tell that the sun is almost rising from the slight hint of light beyond the clouds.

"The map says a few more meters then we would reach the top of this trail...." Jeong Hyeok said offering his hand to Seri before they continued their ascend. "I'm just so glad that you talked me out of the longer trail..." Seri confessed, out of breath. Jeong Hyeok can't help but laugh at her realizations.

They have been climbing for the past one and a half hour, only taking short breaks as Seri really wanted to watch the sunrise in the horizon on the park on top of the mountain.

"I think I could see the park already.." Jeong Hyeok said looking ahead as Seri saw the deck with all the flowers around it. She smiled at him and tugged his hand for them to walk faster to reach the top.

Jeong Hyeok grabbed the water they brought and offered it to her as she sits down on the floor as soon as they were on the deck. There were a few tourists with them who were strolling around, clearly waiting for the sunrise as well. Seri took the bottle from him and offered the space beside her to him as she settled in her place with a full view of the sunrise.

"It's 7:29 already." she mentioned. "We're just in time."

She stared at the horizon with the sun breaking out of the ocean. Jeong Hyeok can't help but smile that these kind of things makes her happy. Her ability to appreciate the little things in life amazes him, especially that he knew her family background and God knows what else she has experienced from her own family.

He has been worried with the confessions she made this morning. Her words never left his mind and the irony of how she was the one with the nightmares but she was the one reassuring him... he wish he could take  the nightmares with him.

He felt her arm nudged his which broke his train of thoughts, "You're not even watching..." she said as he realized he was staring at her. "Don't even think about making a cheesy comment right now." she warned as she fixed her hair and felt awkward with the way he was staring.

Jeong Hyeok laughed and reached to fix her hair for her himself. "I'm just wondering if just how much you're regretting this hike."

"It was worth it if you would just look at the view.." she said as she turned his face to look at the horizon instead of looking at her. "...but we still have to go down. Can we paraglide from here?"

She complained while pouting which made his attention go back to her instead of the view she has been bragging about.

They sat there in silence as the sun rises from the ocean until Seri asked, "Can I ask for a one request?"

"You're not asking me to carry you down now, are you?" he asked which made her laugh.

"No but that does sound tempting...." she said as she reached out to hold his hand so he sensed she really would ask him something and so he nodded before she continued, "Can you not go here with someone else after..." she said looking away as it now sound ridiculous now that she is saying it out loud. "after all this, I want this place to be just ours... I don't think I could go back here after this... but just don't use this move on other woman... of course, you should date someone else but just this spot..." she said with a fake laugh to lessen the pain in her voice.

He doesn't know if he should laugh with her so he watch her babbling. He can't even imagine dating after her. "I won't..." he said assuring her by rubbing circles using his thumb on their intertwined hands.
