"What are you doing here?"
The man just smiled at him. "Ri Jeong Hyeok ssi, I think you forgot something."
Jeong Hyeok closed the front door and met him halfway. Seeing him in their front yard makes him sick and he just had to stop him from moving forward.
"I had some things going on, I forgot to check the date." Jeong Hyeok admitted. "I'll give you the money tonight. I'll wire it, now leave."
The man smirked and shook his head, "I hate to charge you with penalties but if this happen again, you know the rule 30 thousand won per day."
"This won't happen again, now get out." He insisted trying to intimidate the man. "I just wanted to remind you, be thankful that I'm letting this slide. A deal is a deal or I could just you know arrest your brother, is he there so I could say hi?"
Jeong Hyeok clenched his teeth, as he took a lot of self control not to punch this bastard. "Leave..." he barely muttered. "or else... what? you'll call the cops?" he mocked Jeong Hyeok. He is really testing his patience and self control right now.
"I'll wait for the money later or I'll open the case..." he said saluting to Jeong Hyeok mockingly. Jeong Hyeok turned to the gate and saw someone outside. Seri is there looking at him confused, did she hear them?
The guy turned around to leave but he saw the woman in front of the gate. He smirked as he saw the car parked outside clearly belonging to Jeong Hyeok's visitor. "No wonder you're so distracted." he commented turning back to Jeong Hyeok.
Instinctively, Jeong Hyeok opened the gate for him as he pulled Seri inside with him, "You may now go, Cheol Gang."
"Won't you introduce me to her?" he asked looking at Seri. Jeong Hyeok pulled her away from him, blocking her with his body protectively. "Are you his girlfriend?"
Seri did not answer as she is not going to explain their situation to this person, she just looked at Jeong Hyeok who looks so mad right now. "Anyway, I am Cho Cheol Gang. I am their family friend, right Jeong Hyeok?"
He did not answer as well so Cheol Gang laughed and finally stepped outside the gate, "I'll see you again." he said before completely leaving. Jeong Hyeok felt chills in his spine as he is sure that he said it looking at Seri. He frustratingly run his hand into his hair as he turned to look at Seri.
She just looked at him with wide eyes waiting for him to calm down. "Hey." she greeted him.
"Why are you here?" he asked clearly does not want to talk about what just happened. "I was just, I came here to say I'll see you tomorrow... if that's still what you want?"
Jeong Hyeok took a deep breath, trying to calm his pounding heart. He could feel his heart racing probably with anger but with Yoon Seri being in front of him after waiting aimlessly the whole day, he somehow felt better. He reached for her and hugged her close. This should calm him down.
"Are we going to ignore what I just witnessed?" she asked as she hugged him tighter knowing he needs it. "That's not important." he commented. "I'm sorry you had to see that."
"I thought you're going to punch him when I arrived. I saw your eyes, it was dark." she said slight pulling away and looked up at him waiting for his eyes to look at hers. "You can tell me, Jeong Hyeok."
"I said it's nothing." he insisted. She was about to ask again but she suddenly realized, she doesn't want to fight. And to be honest, she is not in the position to demand anything from him right now. They have six days and she is not going to spend any more time fighting.
"Then I'll get going..." she said. "I'll see you tomorrow? I would take care of some things in the office early in the morning then I'm free for the rest of the day."
