"It's not like it would convince you to stay, will it?" Jeong Hyeok asked before he could hold back.
Seri was surprised with the sudden change in his tone. She flinched and looked away as she suddenly felt scared of his response. Well, she did push him to react that way.Jeong Hyeok lightly put down his chopsticks to breath and calm down before looking back at her, knowing he might have startled her. Seri already had her head down without saying anything.
That answers it for him. She did not say anything. There's probably nothing he could do to change her mind. He took a deep breath to calm himself. Will they really fight on their last night together?
"I'm sorry..." he said as he reached out for her hand across the table. Seri shook her head and blinked a few times before raising her head to meet his eyes. "No, I'm sorry... I'm just really... I just really wanted to do something right for you to remember."
"You have already gave me so much to remember, Seri." he said and smiled. "Regardless, I really like it. Eat up so we could complete your list already."
Seri just nodded and started eating. Jeong Hyeok did the same and would steal a glance from time to time like she would disappear. Seri tried her best to ignore the way he's been looking at her, trying not to feel self conscious, wondering what is going through his mind.
After they finished eating, Jeong Hyeok volunteered to clean up as Seri freshen up before preparing the drinks as they move to the living room for their drinking session.
She took her time in the bathroom staring at the mirror, not knowing how to go through this night. She stared at her reflection on the mirror, not recognizing herself at all. Can she really throw it all away for him? Is that even an option? What if they could really make this work? Do they really have to end it this way?
Deep inside, she already knew the answers but that doesn't make it easier for her.
"Seri?" he called from outside before knocking on the bathroom door. "Are you okay?"
"Yes, I'll be out in a while..." she responded as she washed her face to hide the traces of tears on her cheeks. It's too early to cry. For now, she decides to live in the moment. She took one last look at herself in the mirror and forced herself to smile.

They decided to play some card games while drinking. Jeong Hyeok can't help but laugh at her competitive side. She doesn't like the idea of losing and would demand a rematch until she wins. They tried their best to act as normal as possible and to avoid feeling the inevitable end to whatever they have right now.
"I think we should stop..." Jeong Hyeok said fixing the cards to put it aside. "Okay, what game should we play next?" she asked stretching her arms clearly planning on playing again until she wins. "How about since this would be our last night together..." he said as he slowly took a deep breath to control the air escaping his lungs all at the same time just by saying those words out loud. "How about we tell each other things we haven't told anyone..."
"Like?" she asked not getting his point. He rearranged the cards and set it aside then moved closer to her. "You know how they say that's it's easier to talk to strangers..."
"But you're far from being a stranger... you know me better than anyone." she said laughing at the idea as she fill her shot glass with soju. "But I will soon be... and you know maybe we could learn from this and use it to improve ourselves."
"Are you really asking for feedbacks right now?" Seri asked as she smiled at him. "Do you mean things like... you're a good kisser or that you're good in bed but maybe you could improve on your dominant side."
