She woke up for the nth time that day, she realized they literally passed out after a few more rounds. She stirred and turned to check on him who is sleeping peacefully beside her with his back facing her. He probably has the best back she will ever see in her life. They decided to have their lunch delivered along with some groceries from the local market earlier as they could not be bothered to leave the villa.
Seri wanted to go back to sleep as she could feel her body ache all over but her stomach made a sound which reminded her she only took three bites of the subway sandwich they ordered before they got distracted by each other again. She slowly crawled out of bed to find the rest of the sandwich earlier. She found a bathrobe she brought and wrapped it over her.
She suddenly remembered she hasn't check her messages since this morning and so she grabbed her phone and brought it with her. The sandwich is still on the table where she left it. She smiled at the memory of Jeong Hyeok finishing his in less than 10 bites before he started kissing her again.
The sandwich is cold by now but it still tastes good or maybe she is just so hungry right now, she has no time to be picky. She made her way to the beachfront side of the villa and settled on one of those beach chairs. She, then, realized her phone was turned off so she long pressed the power button to turn it on as she took another bite of her sandwich.
It was already 4 in the afternoon. That's the first thing she noticed as the notifications from her phone apps started coming in. There were a few pictures from Seo Dan again just as she expected. One with a sad face in front of a ramen shop in Tokyo with a text below that she wish they had one in Seoul and that she doesn't want to leave Japan just yet.
She laughed as she browsed the other pictures she took of her last day in Japan. Just to humor her friend who was online at the moment, Seri decided to give her a call.
As soon as her call connected, Seo Dan answered her call and even before she could bring her phone to her ear, she was already requesting for a video call. Seri decided why not and besides, she is very fond of her friend at the moment which may or may not be because of the gift she gave her.
"Yoon Seriii...." she practically screamed as the screen showed her face. Seri simply smiled as she slightly fixed her hair, knowing it was so obvious that she has been in bed all day. Luckily, Seo Dan is in the car with her shades on so she thinks she is too distracted to care. "How's Jeju?" she asked as she subtly tilts the camera to show Seung Jun beside her.
"Well, it's bright and sunny..." she answered as she turned the camera to her front view to show Dan the beach. Seri turned it back to the front camera as she adjusted in her seat. "How about Japan?" she asked back.
Seo Dan gave her a smile as she lifts up one paper bag of a luxury brand giving Seri a contented smile, "What do you think?"
"We have the same store of that brand.... literally in the middle of Gangnam.." Seri argued. "Not the color of this bag I wanted." Dan argued back, "Before you give me the big speech about my spending habits, why are you alone there?"
Seri shrugged and could not help but smile by herself, "He's resting..."
"Ohhh.. he must have been so tired." she commented with her usual smirk which made Seri roll her eyes. But this time, she just did not correct her knowing that she is correct. "Hey, I have to go..." Dan said as she seems to be talking to the cab driver. "We're here already, we're gonna be strolling here in the city before we head to this club..."
Seri just nodded and let her friend go, "Enjoy, Dan. I'll see you tomorrow..." she said waving goodbye in front of the camera before Dan ended the call.

Jeong Hyeok woke up feeling different. It was a good type of ache and he isn't even complaining. He smiled to himself as he reached to her side of the bed, just to realize he was alone in bed.
