Yi Soo moved away from the car and light up the cigarette he has been holding. Seri didn't have to tell him all the details about Jeju Guy. He knew from the way Jeong Hyeok looked at Seri with him, it was him. And Seri's reaction on seeing him confirmed he is who Yi Soo think he is. This must be why Seri wanted to go here. It wasn't for the coffee after all.
He looks familiar, though. He remembered the graduation ball. He remembered going out the venue and finding Seri smiling at someone that night. He has been with her for a while that night but it was the only time then where he saw her smile. The one that makes her eyes disappear and he couldn't help but rush to her side when he saw Jeong Hyeok whipped staring back at her, too.
He felt relieved when she introduced him as Dan's driver but he's left confused on the way Seri acted around him that night after seeing him. She came up with this excuse of having issues in the office but he saw how she tried to hide the smile that lights up her face every time her phone vibrates.
He should have known. He took a drag on his cigarette. What is he doing right now? He mentally kicked himself as he realized he is helping the only woman he's been interested in for as long as he could remember but everytime he tried to become greedy, he remembers her smile that night and how it was only then has he realized he has never seen her smile before.
He waited as he look around from time to time in case someone would snap a picture of Seri in the car. He knew how the reporters think of children of rich families. It's as good as getting an exclusive on an actor or an idol, it still sells, so they also has to be careful.
Yi Soo isn't sure if he wanted to protect her or the merger because a scandal right now would cause an issue on the trust of the stakeholders they have been working hard to gain.
He tried checking again but he noticed that Jeong Hyeok has left the car and is heading towards him. Yi Soo sighed as he exhaled smoke again before using the wall to extinguish the light on his cigarette and throwing it on the nearest trash bin.
"She's sleeping.." Jeong Hyeok said awkwardly pointing at the car. Yi Soo nodded and was about to walk away from Jeong Hyeok without saying anything when he heard him speak again, "Why are you helping her?" he asked.
Yi Soo stopped from walking but didn't bother to turn to face him, "That's between me and her."
"Thank you." Jeong Hyeok said even if his back is turned to him.
"Save it." Yi Soo said to stop him from saying anything else. "I'm doing this for her happiness, even if it's not with me. She has gone through enough being born into that family."
Jeong Hyeok nodded in agreement as Yi Soo continued, "Just don't do anything that will make me regret this." he said before taking another step towards the car.
Jeong Hyeok stood there until he could no longer see her car as Han Yi Soo drive her home. He sighed as he wonders when can he drive her home again.

Seri woke up and immediately remembered what she promised herself the last time she got drunk.
"I would never drink again." she promised again as she rubs her temple. She opened her eyes and was startled with the sound of sirens from afar. It took her a few more seconds to realize she is lying on the floor.
Where is she? She looked around and realized she is alone in a dark alley, just a few steps away from a smelly dumpster. The only thing she remembered is the way Yi Soo stopped her from ordering another bottle of soju.
She decided to stand up first as she felt the cold night air crept up the back of her neck. She realized how dangerous it is for her to be alone on an empty alley like this and so she started walking.
