"-And that's the story of how Roman got his scars!" Remus concluded, grinning as he elbowed Roman playfully in the ribs.

Virgil lipped his partner lovingly on the cheek, whispering lustfully as he traced his fingers along his abdomen. "A prince as brave as you is hard to come by, perhaps I should offer you a special reward."

Roman moaned alluringly, contracting his muscles tightly. Virgil was moments away from melting into a deep kiss when he heard a stifled sob. He instinctively drew backward, worry consuming him as he tilted his head back. "Logan, are you okay?"

Small droplets rolled down his cheeks, fogging his glasses as he nodded desolately in response. "I'm fine, please continue."

Remus squeezed the nerd's shoulder, observing his crestfallen eyes. "You don't look fine to me. What's wrong?"

Logan reached for his tie, fidgeting with it's frayed ends. "That story... it just makes me sad. Anyhow, I'd best bid you three goodnight."

"Oh, okay," Remus frowned disappointedly, slumping his shoulders. I would have liked you to stay.

Logan resting his hands beneath his head, staring at the ceiling with tears in his eyes. A sobering thought drifted into his mind. Am I really this easy to hurt? He'd always prided himself on being the most collected side, able to solve any challenging problem, regardless of size, without spiralling into undue panic. Yet Deceit had injected him. He'd been held hostage without an ounce of restitution. The spirit of evil had possessed him, proving how easy he was to manipulated. And now he was crying over an event which occurred over a decade previous. Surly this meant he was failing his job.

I'm logic, not titanium, he attempted to reason with himself. Trauma is not an indication of my strength, if I feel bad about almost committing manslaughter than I am worthy of the emotion I am feeling. I am logic, and it is logical to feel terrible right now.

Logan smiled weakly to himself. I can do this, I can recover.
