TW- Panic (Sorry this chapter isn't of the highest quality, I just wanted to get something out.)
"How do you feel, Patton?" Logan spoke carefully, approaching the wintery figure fallen heavily on the floor. He hesitantly kneeled to his side, observing his twinkling eyes and glowing cheeks.
Morality smiled widely. "Amazing! You wouldn't believe how strong I feel, there is so much health inside of me! You should try the grandest form too."
Janus hissed between clenched teeth, shaking his head strongly in Logan's direction. "There is no way I'm letting that dismal spirit blast anyone else with freak magic!" He stared at his feet, embarrassment clawing at his insides. "I don't want anything to happen to you."
"Get over yourself, pathetic reptile," Forgiveness sneered.
"Ignore him." Logan straightened his glasses, patting Janus softly on the arm. "Thank you for caring about me, but I'll be fine."
"Brace yourself!" Magic flared from the spirit's fingers, shooting bolts of electrifying energy. Logan gasped, feeling the brutal force burn his skin before he peeled open his eyes with a loud groan. He instantly felt different. Awareness flooded his system, sharpening his hearing and prying memories into focus. A long tinted mane folded over his forehead, green lines painted computer binary across his skin and a glorious crystallised shirt warmed his chest.
An illusion flooded his mind, a distant untouched memory of Patton murmuring, Are you okay, Lo?
"Are you okay Lo?"
Logan jerked his head towards him, his eyes wide with surprise. Another memory soon followed. 'He'll need a minute.'
"He'll need a minute." Forgiveness spoke coyly, shrugging his golden shoulders.
Logan pressed a palm to his forehead, squeezing shut his eyes. Janus was about to yell-
"-No," Logan warned, gripping Janus's coat. "Don't yell at him, I'm okay."
Forgiveness will blast energy from his finger tips and strike Janus-
"Don't you dare, Janus isn't ready!" Logan hollered. Forgiveness held his fire, smirking down at his forebear.
"Ah, so you've already began to harbour your ability. Your greatest form allows you create forcefields and to predict three seconds into the future."
"Three seconds?" Logan repeated confoundedly. He yelped. "No, don't!"
The spirit cackled, binding him in elegant ropes which emerged from his hands, tying his body firmly in place. "You have to do more than know my next move, Logic. Predicting the future is one thing, preventing it is another."
"Leave him alone!" Patton cried. Janus hissed violently, turning to see both Roman and Remus contouring clamours in their grip.
"Fuck off! Leave Logan alone!" Remus snarled, lunging forward.
"Don't do anything! If you fight he'll harm you, his power is to strong!" Logan warned, struggling helplessly.
A large strike of magic will melt my scalp- Logan whimpered, squeezing his eyes firmly shut with a fearful wince. He panted for several moments until he opened his eyes, shocked to find an enormous shimmering forcefield shielding his face.
"Let go of him, let go of him now!" Virgil was shuddering on the spot, clenching his fists as he spoke. Thomas looked horrified, his eyes widened with distrust.
"If I must, minion, though I do hope Logan has learnt well from this brief trial of greatness." The spirit grimaced lowly.
