Logan growled. "Get back here Patton!"

"Logan, Logan, calm down please!" Thomas spoke exasperatedly, jolting forward and grabbing his arms before he could sink away also. Logan was a tomato of fury, his ears burning and his eyes flaring.

Logan tore himself away. "Roman, Virgil, we need to make sure Patton never sees Deceit again! He deserves a serious correcting in this repulsive act!"

"I'm with you," Roman nodded strongly. Virgil threw his hands over his head, taking tight, laboured breaths. Whose safety is more important, Patton's or Deceit's?

"Everyone stop!" Thomas commanded desperately. "It sounds like Deceit needed help, so of course Morality helped, you can't punish him for that. What we need is a safe way monitor Deceit to make sure that Patton can do what he has to do without anyone getting hurt."

The three were silent for a few moments, until Logan slowly laughed. "What, like leave him in a cell?"
Thomas froze, the harsh beating of his heart echoing in his head. "L-Logan, that doesn't sound like something you would say. You don't believe in revenge, you believe in Logical reasoning and ethical decisions."

Logan grimaced. "You don't mind that idea, do you Roman? After all, what better way to keep Remus, Patton and Vigil safe then through that terrible man's imprisonment?"

Roman swallowed, nodding his head. "Sorry Thomas, but I don't know of another way to handle this. I feel so unsafe having him free, he's a criminal, an abuser. I'm not saying this for a revenge reason, but he deserves to be behind bars until we have a better option."

Logan turned to Virgil, staring down the shivering embodiment of anxiety. "Don't you want us all to be safe?"

Virgil felt droplets slide down his cheeks. "We'll keep Deceit safe too, right?"

Thomas wrapped an arm around Virgil's shoulder, harbouring his compassion. "What do you mean?"

"He bruised his hands, Thomas. He hurt himself, we have to make sure he doesn't hurt himself anymore."
"Whatever." Logan spoke with a wave of his hand. "Roman, contour a couple of swords, we're taking this snake down."

"No, Logan, Roman, don't harm him!" Virgil cried.

"We won't Virgil, we're just going to get him to surrender and come quietly." Roman reassured him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I don't intend to harm anyone."

He passed a silver blade to Logan, and brought a second to his hand. "Let's do this, for Patton."
