7: Opportunity

TEN's POV

I was drinking my coffee while walking at the hallway. The director told me to come here on Theatre. Wala siyang binanggit na kung ano man pero wala naman siguro akong rehearsal ngayon.

Nakita ko si Winwin na kumakaway sa akin. Ngumiti naman ako pabalik.

"You're here..."

"Yup. Pinapunta ako ni Sir B..."

"Oh. Ako naman, he told me to wait here. I have no idea..."

"Me neither..."

Kakatapos lang daw ng rehearsal nila. Wala na masyadong tao dahil iyong iba ay nag-uwian na. Panay crew na lang kasi ang nakikita ko dito.

Ang saya lang tignan ng ganitong scenery. Packing up things after working on your passion. That's one of the best feelings ever.

"Oh. Ten and Winston!"

The middle-age man who called us was walking with unfamiliar faces. There were women beside him. Ngumiti siya sa amin nang makalapit at binati naman namin si Sir pabalik.

He looked at the older woman beside him and the smile display on their faces.

"This is Amor and Lolita..."

Ngumiti sa akin ang Amor na mukhang dalaga pa. Ang suot nitong pants at polo ay bagay sa puting rubber shoes niya. Isang tingin lang ay alam mo nang dalaga pa lang ito. Mestiza at may katamtamang tangkad.

Si Lolita naman ay sa tingin ko ay mukhang doble na ng edad ko. She was wearing a terno na nagpapabata sa hitsura niya. Maganda at matangkad. Hindi mo aakalain na mahina ang pangangatawan dahil sa tindig niya.

"I bet you guys are wondering right now. This is not urgent but these two pretty ladies here were able to visit me today..."

Nakipagkamayan at nakipagkilala ang dalawang babae sa amin bago nagsalita.

"We are from Elysian..." Lolita said in a warm tone.

The two woman showed us their ID. Nagtataka naman ako at mukhang nahalata iyon sa mukha ko.

"We work at entertainment and event company which has a wide range of dance acts for any corporate, public and private party and any other events. Our company is expanding internationally and we are looking for proffesional dancers. And I trust this man beside me. He said he has a lot of talented people here."

"Yeah, but I chose those exceptional ones." Sir B said.

"To make it short, we are offering you two an opportunity to be a part of our Company..."

I was surprised at what she said. This is the second time I had a big offer like this year. Sure our dance troupe is big but I think, this one is bigger.

"If you won't mind..."

Iniabot ni Amor ang maliit na envelope sa amin. I was expecting a calling card but this isn't just a simple one. Their email and the Company Address were written on the paper too.

Does it almost seem like an invitation or invitation nga ito?

"As I was saying kanina, we are looking for dancers. I heard you guys are not just incredibly performers but passionate about what you're doing. That's what we're looking for. We would like to invite you two to be able to share with us your talents." Lolita said.

"Oh, sure. Salamat po sa invitation. I will surely come..." Sabi ni Winwin.

"Same here. It's a pleasure, ma'am."

"That's great! Who knows If you will become one of the well-known artists in the future. We'll wait for you two..."

Nagpaalam na din sila sa amin pagkatapos ng ilang minutong pag-uusap.
