9: Confusion

JOHNNY's POV

Pinagmamasdan ko siya habang tinitignan at binabasa ang mga libro. I just can't believe that she's with me. The last thing I know... I was just sitting in a bar and watching her on the stage.

I never made a wrong decision.

Alam ko sa sarili ko na hindi lang ganito ang habol ko sa kanya. We've been in this setup for almost a couple of weeks now. I guess one month were... short.

What will happen after?

Heck, I don't even want to cut ties with her now.

Damn... blame yourself.

Sumasakit lang ang ulo ko sa mga pinag-iiisip ko. It's not wrong to like her though. We are all free to like who we want. But the thing is, we are in this arrangement.

No strings attached...

"Uh... I'm done here. Shall we go?"

Ibinaba niya ang libro at lumingon sa akin. For a second, I realized something.

Napangiti ako sa naisip.

She smiled at me then walk toward the door.

Dinala ko na lahat ng importanteng gamit ko at pati ang kakailanganin ko for swimming. I am planning to stay for a week there... with her.

My friend told me that there's a lot of beautiful Hotels and Resorts doon near there.

"Oh! Did they run away?!"

Ngumisi ako sa kanya.

"Of course!"

She laughed loudly. God, I want to stare at her but I'm driving right now!!!

We were talking about our random funny memories. Kinuwento ko sa kanya 'yung nangyari sa akin sa States. When we went to Chicago to visit my grandparents, I was sixteen years old back then.

"Akala siguro nila porket mas matanda sila, wala akong laban. I'm tall though, they shouldn't be  underestimating me..."

I remember that day.

I was playing with my friends. Then suddenly, there's a group of scumbags who bullied my friends. Ang tatanda na pero bata ang inaaway. Muntik na ako mabugbog pero buti na lang, I'm learning taekwando that time. I just teach those assholes a great lesson.

Napansin ko ang pagtahimik ni Kitty pagkatapos ng mahabang tawanan.

"Are you tired?"

He smiled at me with her beaming eyes.

"Uh... medyo. I'll just take a nap. Gisingin mo na lang ako mamaya."

"Okay..."

Naramdaman kong nag-vibrate ang phone ko.

"Your mom misses you. You should come home tomorrow..." Basa ko isip ko sa message ni Dad.

I sigh.

Ilang linggo na din akong hindi bumibisita. Bukod sa inaasikaso ko iyong nangyari sa company, I'm always with Kitty.

Well, I shouldn't waste my time. I've only signed up for a month. Ngayon nagsisisi na ako.

I-extend ko kaya ng isang taon?

Nagpark ako sa usual spot at tinangal ang seatbelt.

Kitty was in deep sleep I can almost hear her snoring. Napangiti ako at sobrang pagtitig ay nasandal ko ang ulo ko sa manibela at biglang napindot ang busina.
