It's August 12th the day before Bella and Edward get married. Savannah is one month old and the bubbliest baby of all babies.
Emily finally told Sam a few days after she told me that she was expecting their little baby. Once she told Sam he couldn't contain the excitement long enough for just the two of them to enjoy and ended up telling the pack within the first hour.
I'm at the Cullen home with Savannah as Alice teaches Bella how to walk in heels. Savannah is safely in my arms as Paul patrols with the pack. Getting in his hours so he can go to the wedding with me and Savannah tomorrow.
I have Savannah in a one piece cream color outfit that has a hood and long sleeves to keep her warm since she doesn't have the heat of a wolf to keep her warm.
"Grace, Edward wants you." Alice says when Bella stumbles after taking two steps.
"Okay." I hug Savannah to my chest as I walk into the house and up the stairs into the room where he is watching the family prep for his wedding. "You look nervous."
"I'm not." He says not looking away from the window. He turns to me when I make it next to his side and takes Savannah into his cold arms. "At least not right now."
"You aren't getting cold feet are you?" I ask as he hold Savannah to his chest as she clings to him. He shakes his head no and gently lets his finger graze against Savannah's cheek. "What's wrong E?"
"I just wanted some company that wasn't any of the others. And I kinda wanted to hold Savannah for a little." He says smiling. I smile adoringly to him as he looks down at the small baby. "Have you been trying to help her gain any weight?"
"I've been trying. But Dad thinks because she was in the state she was in when she was born it might take a while before she gains the right amount of weight." I look down at my phone when my alarm goes off for when Paul is done patrolling. "I have to get home and start on Paul's lunch."
"When will y'all have your wedding?" He asks as I gently take Savannah in my arms without waking her up.
"Hope for December 14th." He nods his head. "Paul agreed to allowing us have the wedding where the pack and you guys can come."
"He better. I'm not missing my baby sister getting married." I smile at him.
"You won't miss it Edward." I hug him before saying my goodbye and walking down the stairs. I wave to the others outside before putting Savannah into her carrier and climbing into the Jeep to drive home.
"Hey beautiful." Paul says when I walk into the house with Savannah tucked into my arms. He takes Savannah into his arms gently.
"You hungry?" I ask following him into the kitchen.
"I'm good right now. Sam said I should be good to go to the wedding." Paul says sitting down at the bar stool cradling Savannah in his arms.
"Good. I'll need someone to be there with me. I think Alice invited the Forks gossip group." I say leaning against the counter across from him. "And did I tell you, Emily and I put in the finally details to buy the building for our bakery."
