I'm getting dressed for the baseball game with my family. I put on a pair of black leggings and a green Nike sweatshirt and grey tennis shoes. I grab a ponytail and grey Nike hat then walk downstairs where Edward is waiting.
I climb into Emmett's Jeep while Edward drives us to pick Bella up. When we pull up he turns to me. "Do you want to meet Chief Swan?" He asks.
"Why not." I say hoping out. Edward walks to the door and knocks. I look around the neighborhood and smile at how homey it looks. The door opens to reveal Bella.
"Hey!" She says to the both of us. Bella leads Edward and I inside.
"Chief Swan. I'm Edward Cullen and this is my little sister Grace Cullen." He says shaking Bella's father's hand.
"Hello Edward, Grace." He says. I shake his hand then look at Bella and Edward.
"Bella was just gonna play baseball with my family she won't be out long." Edward says formally.
"Baseball? Bella's gonna be playing baseball?" He asks in disbelief.
"That's the plan. She will be safe with us I promise." I look down at my watch to find we need to get going.
"Well have fun." Chief says. I wave at him when Edward ushers me out.
"It was nice meeting you." I say smiling.
"You too Grace." He says. I climb into the backseat and close my eyes.
"Since when do vampires play baseball?" Bella asks while Edward fixes her hair under a baseball cap.
"Well it's the American pass time. And we can only play when a storm is coming. You'll see why." He says smiling. She climbs into the Jeep and closes the door. Edward climbs into the driver's seat then drives towards the clearing where we play baseball.
Edward parks the Jeep in the clearing. Emmett opens the door then puts me on his shoulders. "Hey!" I say smiling.
"Hey Gracie. Are you gonna make sure we are not cheating?" He asks chuckling.
"Nope. I'm gonna give the reins to Bella." I say patting his hair. I run my fingers through his curls
"Down you go." He says taking me off his shoulders and places me on my feet. Jasper comes by and hugs me. I run over to mom who's talking to Bella and hug her.
Everyone gets into position waiting for the time to start the game. Alice smiles down to the home plate. "It's time."
Rosalie bats first. She hits the ball hard and it sores into the forest passed Edward.
