His Saving Grace

I'm currently home alone cleaning and redecorating the house with They Don't Know About Us by One Direction blaring through the house. I hear the door opening and closing from our bedroom and walk out to find Jake and Bella.

"Hey." I say turning the song off and looking at the two. "What's going on?"

"We were bored and didn't want to bother Emily." Jake says sitting down on the three legged stool in the living room. "What happened to the furniture?"

"I bought new furniture for the living room and dining room." I say walking into the kitchen. "Paul left me home alone and I got bored. He said I could do whatever."

"What did you do with the other stuff?" He asks.

"I have a shed outside with the stuff in it for him and when the pack is over. I didn't get rid of it." He nods his head.

"Really? I'm gonna go look at it." He says walking to the makeshift man cave. I look to find Bella looking around. Before she can say anything the moving truck drives up.

"Jacob!" I yell then walk outside. "Hi."

"Are you Grace Cullen?" He asks walking up. I nod my head. "Sign here." I sign the paper when Jake and Jared walk in.

"Where did you come from?" I ask shocked.

"Oh we were in your makeshift man cave. Paul's in there too." I roll my eyes.

"Help me take this into the living room. I'm gonna go get Paul and Embry. They can help." I say walking inside then to the man cave and open the door to find Paul and Embry talking. "Come on. I need your strong wolfiness."

"That was awful Grace." Embry says with a laugh. I shrug my shoulders and then head back to the house to find Jake and Jared walking in with the new couch.

"That goes there." I say directing the boys and that's how it went before I shooed the boys out and continued redecorating the cabin.

After a few hours I finally finish redecorating our cabin. Paul walks in yawning. "Woah!" He says looking around at the new look.

"You like?" I ask whipping my hands off getting ride of the tomato sauce that's gonna be in the dinner.

"I really like it. Where did you learn to decorate?" He asks.

"Esme was one of the family members that took care of me during my tween years. I use to go with her and watch her renovate the homes for Emmett and Rosalie." I say smiling. "And I might have texted her when you were gone. I can never stay mad at her especially when he fought for me the most when I was abandoned."

Paul smiles and kisses my lips. "What's for dinner?"

"Spaghetti and meatballs." I say smiling. He nods his head with a smile.

"Sounds good. You need help?"

"Sure."

We spend the rest of the night joking around and eating dinner. Once we lay down for bed we fall asleep the moment our heads hit our pillows after a long day of patrolling and decorating.
