It's the next morning and I'm pacing the floor between my bed and the dresser breathing.I'm a few centimeters away from having to go to the hospital early. Paul hasn't left yet but he's getting ready to leave.
I sit down on the bed and place my head in my hands. I look up when Paul crouches down in front of me.
"What's wrong?" He asks moving the hair from in front of my face.
"Contractions are getting closer together." I say sighing. He frowns slightly.
"You want your hair out of your face?" He asks seeing another strand get in between my face.
"Yeah." He stands up then walks back into the bathroom. When he comes out he has a cheetah print scrunchy in his hand.
He pulls my hair into a bun gently before kissing my forehead. "I'm gonna go get Emily and them awake before I leave. Then make you some coffee."
"Okay. Don't be late for Sam."
"I don't give a rat's fury ass about Sam." He says smiling when he makes it to the door. I shake my head at his comment and then stand up to walk to Savannah's room to grab her bags.
I walk into the kitchen and Paul scolds me for moving to much. I roll my eyes at his protectiveness as he puts the bags by mine.
Emily, Sue, and Kim walk into the kitchen. Sue ready for the day to start as the others are yawning.
"How are you feeling?"
"It's almost time. I'm gonna leave a few minutes after he does." I say leaning against the counter. As I place my hands on the counter a stronger contraction hits. I breath in pain as Paul walks to my side rubbing my back.
"You need to go now, baby. That's less then six minutes." He says with a frown. I nod my head as the contraction passes.
"I'll put her things in the car." Sue says grabbing the many bags filled with the things I'll need for the hospital.
Paul helps me walk to the car and opens the door for me. "I love you more then you can ever imagine Grace. I'm gonna try everything I can to be there."
"I love you Paul." I kiss his lips softly before climbing into the car.
"She'll be safe with us." Emily says walking to the wolf and hugging g him. "I promise."
"Thank you for this." Paul says pulling away and allowing Emily to climb into the car behind me.

I watch the car drive off and curse Sam and Bella for being the causes I can't be with my Grace. I walk back into the house and lock everything before going to Emily's house.
When I walk in to find the pack all there an asleep in odd angles except for Jake. I glare a hole into Sam'a head before walking into the kitchen and grabbing a water bottle.
Sam walks into the kitchen with me but I don't pay the alpha any mind.
"Paul I'm sorry, okay? It's our duty to protect the humans and the tribe." Sam says when he just waits for me to say something.
"You forgot one last thing Sam. We protect our imprints above all of those. Above the stupid Cullens, above Bella, and we protect the imprints it's our number one law." I growl. "Grace Cullen is my imprint. And right now, I have to sit and fight in a battle when my imprint is going through birth without me. She has to go through it alone. Emily, Sue, and Kim can't go into the room with her because they aren't the father. So she's gonna go through delivery alone. Another thing, you want us to go into the battle with a clear mind well guess what not one man that can't be there for their significant other while they have their child goes their day with a clear mind. So you can hold your apologies to me and give them to Grace."
I walk out of the kitchen with my phone in my hand waiting for updates while sitting on the rocking chair.
A few hours past and I'm sitting at the table eating with the pack as they chat with my phone on the table face up. I look down right as Sue calls.
"Hey is everything okay?" I ask worriedly.
"Paul I don't care what you have to do but you need to get here now. They're having complications. They just took the baby away from Grace."
