His Saving Grace

Today's the day I get to figure out my baby's gender. I convinced Emily and the pack to move the gender reveal to where the Cullens could come. I don't forgive them for what they did but I do still want them to be around the baby before it's born knowing Paul's not gonna want the werewolf gene to be triggered.

I'm currently getting dressed for the reveal while Paul is at the place where the party is being held helping Emily and Kim with the decorations and such.

I'm doing my makeup with a pink Smokey eye type deawith a dark pink lip. Im obviously going for a girl while Paul is wearing blue going for a boy. Most of the pack are going for a boy but Jake, Jared, and Sam are going for a girl.

My Cullen family is different though. With only Carlisle being around me they don't really know what gender to lean on. Carlisle isn't wearing a color because he knows what the baby is along with Edward.

I put on a loose fitting moral dress that scans the floor. I have sandals on with how swollen my feet have become. I walk into the living room as Paul walks in. He looks me up and down with a smile.

"You look beautiful." He says walking to me and kissing my lips. "You ready to go?"

I nod my head and grab my phone. "Let's go."

He grabs my hand and leads me to his truck. He opens my door and closes it when I climb in. When we arrive to the party it's in full swing. The vampires on one side and wolves on another. I sigh and shake my head.

"The guys aren't gonna do anything. Sam sorta ordered them to behave even Jake." He says with a chuckle.

"Same goes for you hotshot." I say poking his bicep then climbing out of the tuck as he starts laughing. Emily and Kim run to me smiling.

"Come on. You have to put your talley mark down." Emily says dragging me to the chalk board with lines under the boy and girl part. I smile then mark mine under the girls. Paul comes up and writes a line under the boys. I stick my tongue out at him and smile.

I kiss his cheek then walk to my vampire family. "I'm glad you guys could come." I say to the vampires and Bella.

"We are happy you invited us." Carlisle says with a twinkle in his eyes. I smile at him and look to find Emily running to me.

"I know it's early but I don't think I'll be able to keep the gender a secret for long. Come on." She says grabbing my hand and dragging me to the piñata where Paul is waiting with a smoke gun.

I smile at him while our families come to where they can see. Paul is bouncing with excitement. He kisses my cheek then looks to his pack mates. "Count down." Emily says.

"Five...four...three...two...one!" I pull the stings on the piñata while Paul twists the smoke gun and out comes pink smoke and confetti. My eyes widen in awe and joyful tears fall down my cheeks. Paul pulls me into his arms and his lips crash to mine.

Everyone is cheering around us and I pull away smiling. "I was right!" I say with a squeal. Paul's booming laugh rings through my ears. "Mom's intuition."

I say pointing to my head he shakes his head with a bright smile. The pack all comes to me and hugs me in a group hug. "We get a baby Grace!" They yell in unison. I laugh with pure joy rushing through me.

"Damn. But watch her have Paul's attitude. She's already got his eating habits." Seth says when they pull away. My eyes widen thinking of the possibilities. Everyone busts out laughing I shake my head at their weirdness.

"Go eat you crazy wolves." I say with a shake of my head. They hoot and holler while rushing to get to the food. Emily and Kim rush to me hugging me tightly.

"Im getting a baby girl!" I squeal. They jump up and down while squealing happily. "Oh I can't wait for her to come."

"What's her name gonna be?" Emily asks for the millionth time.

"Not saying. Only Paul and I know." I say with a smile. She rolls her eyes with a frown. "Go eat. We will have loads of time to talk."

They link arms then walk to the food. I look towards my wolf family and boyfriend to find them laughing and eating. I turn around when I hear my vampire family's footsteps coming near me.

"Congrats Grace." Esme says walking to me and hugging me.

"Thanks." I say pulling away. Alice smiles at me while Rosalie walks to me.

"When will she be born?" She asks with a small smile.

I rub my baby bump and look to her. "Beginning of June end of May. I found out I was pregnant a couple months before you guys came back." She nods her head.

"Do you mind?" She asks with her hands out. I shake my head no and move my hand. She places her hand on my stomach when she kicks. I smile down at my baby girl.

"Gracie!" Jared's voice yells. I turn to face him. "Come here!"

"Excuse me." I say with a smile. I walk to the werewolf. "Yes?"

"You have presents to open." I nod my head then grab Paul's hand as I sit down and open presents from my family. Emily gives me a bunch of girl baby clothes, Carlisle gives me a car seat and stroller, while the rest of the presents were diapers and pacifiers. I hug everyone and thank them before they depart for their end of the day tasks.
