It's the middle of the night the same day of us coming home with Savannah. I woke up to her crying needing her midnight meal and diaper change.
I'm rocking her in the dark trying to get her back to sleep.
"Gracie?" I hear Paul whisper through the hallway.
"In here." I whisper back. He pokes his head into the room and looks at me confused. "Mama duties."
He nods his head before walking in and sitting down on the floor in front of my feet. "I figured. I just didn't know if that was true or not. You like to wake up in the middle of the night with thoughts."
"Yeah. Are you coming with me to see the Cullens?" I ask look down at Savannah and fixing her arm so it isn't in a weird position.
"Yes. The pack is coming by to see her though. Jake is healed enough to walk so he's gonna come with us to the Cullen's." Paul says laying down on the carpet in the room.
"Fine by me." I say standing up and stepping over Paul to lay Savannah down in her crib. I turn around to look at Paul who's watching me with his arms folded behind his head.
"You look tired." Paul says with a smirk. I give him a "are you serious" look. He smiles at me before standing up from the floor and kissing my lips. "Let's go back to bed."
"Okay." He takes my hand in his as we walk back into our bedroom and laying back down. I look at him and just study his face.
"What?" He whispers turning on his side so he can me in eyes. I scoot closer to him and kiss him gently on the lips. When I pull away he lays his hand on my cheek and rubs his thumb gently against it.
"I love you." I whisper as he caresses my cheek. He smiles at me lovingly.
"I love you." He pulls me closer as we snuggle until we both fall back asleep.

It's the next morning and I'm making lunch for the pack of wolves that are coming. I have Savannah in the portable cot in the kitchen as I cook and prepare myself for the wild that's to come.
I check on Savannah just as the door opens and in walks Jake. I smile at the wolf who smiles at me.
"Is she awake?" He asks in a whisper. I look down at Savannah who's just now waking up.
"No she just woke up." I say smiling. He nods his head and then looks into the cot to find Savannah. "Can you keep an eye on her?"
"Yeah." He says with a smile. I smile at him bedtime going back to finish the lunch for the rest of the pack. Right around the time we all agreed for the pack to come Sue and Kim walk in just as Savannah cries for her lunch.
"I'll be right back." I say walking into the nursery as the pack and Paul walks in. Paul looks at me confused.
"You guys make yourself at home." He says before he follows me. I check Savannah's diaper before grabbing a blanket and covering Savannah up so I can feed her. "Everything okay?"
"Can you hold her butt?" I ask turning to him. He walks to me and places and hand on her butt. "And hold the blanket up?"
His other takes the blanket to where it covers me up but I can still see under it. I smile at him thankfully when I have it fixed. I follow him into the kitchen with the blanket fixed and Savannah being fed.
Paul covers me up so in case the blanket falls I can easily fix it back. Emily and Sue walk up talking about a future bakery and the wedding that is right around the corner.
Paul walks up to me with a smile when I have Savannah in my arms done being fed.
"Okay so this bakery is really happening?" I ask shocked to find out that the two found a building and have already bought it.
"Yes it's really happening Grace. I told you we could make it work. It could help us pay for side things. I know we don't need to with Sam and Paul being apart of the pack, but we could do something for ourselves." Emily says with a smile. "Kim even agreed to helping."
"Yeah Grace. It could be our thing." Kim says with an excited smile.
"Fine but who's gonna feed these wolves?" I ask pointing to the bunch of wolves. Jake walks up with Savannah who is crying. "What's wrong Jake?"
"I don't know. I think it's her diaper." He whispers. I smile and take her into my arms. I check her diaper to find she indeed pooped.
"You can't change a diaper?" I ask smiling. His cheeks turn a bright pink.
"Neither can Paul!" He says pointing to the wolf who's walking into the kitchen. He looks at us alarmed.
"Jake!" He whines. "Why would you tell them!"
I laugh and shake my head at Paul who's pouting at Jake. "Sorry Paul! They were attacking!"
"Yeah but you don't bring me down with you!"
"That's what a pack is meant to do!"
"No. It's not."
"You make no sense Paul Lahote!"
"Neither do you! What wolf can't change a baby's diaper?"
"You can't either! And you're the father!"
"That's just rude! I wasn't taught any of this!"
"And Grace was?"
"Oh don't dig a hole for me Jacob! This is your problem!"
I look at the two in complete shock as they argue like a married couple. Emily and Kim are on the edge of their seats laughing at the two's argument.
I shake my head in amusement before walking to the nursery and changing the dirty diaper. Paul walks into the room with a smile and kisses my cheek.
"The packs about to leave and we will go to the Cullen's." He says laying his head on my shoulders. I lean into his chest once I change Savannah and sigh in relief. "You okay?"
"Yeah just tired." I say as a yawn escapes. "Let's let her take a nap before we go."
"I'll do whatever you need Gray." He says kissing my cheek. "Imma tell the others to leave so they don't wake her up."
"Okay." I say watching him leave as I lay her down in her crib and grab the baby monitor. I keep her door open and walk out into the kitchen to find it clean and the wolves saying goodbye.
I turn to Emily and thank her for cleaning everything up and walking them to the door.
"I'll come by tomorrow with Savannah to get out of the house." I say smiling to Emily and Sam.
"Our doors are always opened Grace." Emily says with a smile. "We'll see you tomorrow."
"Bye you guys." I wave before closing the door and going to the living room to take a nap on the couch.
When my eyes close Paul wakes me up and moves me so he can fit on the couch with me and sleep beside me until we have to go to the Cullen's.

I love Jake and Paul! They are so cute! We are close to the end of Eclipse and the beginning of the last book! I hope you've enjoyed this journey as much as I have.
