I'm leaning against the bricks of the movie theater as Bella buys the tickets for the movie while Mike tries to hold a conversation with Jacob. I roll my eyes at all of Mike's comments.
"So are you even old enough to see this movie? You know without adult supervision." Mike says.
"Well Bella is buying my ticket." Jacob says sarcastically. He turns to me and looks me up and down. "You're dating Paul?"
"Yeah." I say running a hand through my hair.
"I thought he was a hothead?" Bella says coming up.
"He has a temper but we haven't really gotten on the past subject." I say with a shrug. "I don't care how Paul was before. I know where his head is. And he's mine now so I don't have to worry about his past."
"Dang! I'd hate to date you." Mike says. I look at him shocked along with Jacob and Bella. "What? She claims him like they're married."
"Let's just go watch the movie. Angela and Eric are sick and Jessica doesn't want to come." Bella says.
"Let's just go." I say with a sigh. We walk into the movie theater doors and I sigh taking in the smell of popcorn. "I'm gonna get a drink."
Bella follows me silently. I order a coke then look at Bella. "Sorry about Mike."
"You don't have to apologize for Mike being a dick" I say while we walk into the movie.
I sit through the movie falling in and out of sleep. Mike stands up abruptly and runs to the bathroom. I stand up and follow Bella and Jacob.
"What a marshmallow. You should hold out for a guy who laughs at the gore." Jacob says with a laugh. I linger back and text Paul.
9:00pm To: Paul💋🐺 This is AWFUL! I wish I was at home.😔
9:01pm From: Paul💋🐺 I wish you were at home to.
9:02pm To: Paul💋🐺 Be home soon💋
I walk to Mike who's talking to a shaking Jacob. "Feeling sick maybe you should go to the hospital. You want me to put you in the hospital!"
"Jake the movies over calm down." Bella says getting in between the two men. "Jake you're really hot. Are you feeling ok?"
"I don't know. I have to go." My eyes widen then I follow before yelling over my shoulder.
"I'll call later Bells. Jacob!" I yell when I go outside. "Ride with me."
He nods his head then climbs into my Jeep. I text Sam real quick.
9:20pm To: Sam Uley Jacob is about to phase. I'm driving him to Billy's.
I climb into the driver's seat then speed to LaPush. I look at Jacob to find him breathing in and out slowly. "What's happening to me?"
"Your dad will explain it all to you when we get you home." I say reassuringly.
