I wake up the next morning to no Paul, but a note.
I will see you later Gracie. I have patrol this morning. I will pick you up after school. See you soon. Your Paul.
I smile at the sweetness of the note then get out of bed and get ready for school. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans, with a white T-shirt with in gold "Malfoy 07", and I add my black leather jacket over the shirt. I put a pair of white hightop converse.
I straighten my hair and go with my everyday makeup. I walk downstairs and grab my keys. I put my phone in my back pocket.
"I can take you to school." Edward says walking in. "I know you want Paul to bring you home."
"Can we stop by Starbucks?" He nods his head. I grab my backpack and put my keys back in their spot then follow Edward to his car. I climb into the backseat knowing he is gonna pick Bella up.
He pulls into Bella's driveway like he owns the place then hops out and walks to the door. I pull my phone out and text Paul who's not off patrol yet.
7:30am To: Paul❤️🐺 Had fun last night!
I put my phone down not expecting a response for a while. But I was proven wrong.
7:32am From: Paul❤️🐺 Me too. Sorry I couldn't take you to school this morning. Sam wanted me to patrol and knew I wouldn't be able to get home, shower, then go from your house to forks high to my school. Emily says you should come see her.
7:33am To: Paul❤️🐺 It's fine. I knew why you left. And I'll come see Emily soon, hopefully.
I put my phone in my pocket when Bella and Edward climb into the car. Bella smiles at me and turns to Edward when I smile back. Edward drives through town.
"Where are you going?" Bella asks confused.
"I promised Gracie coffee." He says smiling at his girlfriend then facing me. "What do you want?"
"Caramel Frappuccino." I say smiling.
"Wow adventuring out huh?" I nod my head. After he orders and pays at the window. He hands me my Frappuccino and then drives to school. My phone buzzes in my pocket.
7:40am From: Paul❤️🐺 McDonald's later?
I smile at his simple text then send back a yes. I put my phone in my backpack when Edward parks the Volvo and climb out to walk to class. The teacher smiles at me like he always does.
