Delilah hid her head in Daryl's shoulder and shielded herself from looking and waited for the gunshot. The gunshot echoed through their ears. Delilah opened her tightly shut eyes. Carol was sobbing in her arms and Daryl had his arms around the both of them. Carol started to squirm and Delilah let go. Daryl tried to keep her back but she pushed him and stormed off.

Delilah got up and looked at everyone standing in front of the barn. Hershel was in some sort of shock. Maggie was hugging him. Beth was in Jimmy's arms. She felt so bad for all of them.

Beth struggled out of Jimmy's arms and rushed over to her mother. Delilah watched her crouch over her dead mother. That wasn't her mother when she came out of that barn. That wasn't Sofia either. The walker wasn't fully put down when Beth went over to it. The walker grabbed Beth and pulled her in. The unexpected move made Delilah jump back. She quickly helped everyone pull the walker off her. Tdog started stomping on its head while everyone took Beth away. Delilah took her tomahawk and put the walker down.

Rick, Glenn, and Shane went up to the house with the Greene family while Delilah stayed with the rest of the group by the barn. Delilah turned around to look at Daryl but he disappeared. Delilah spotted Shane and Rick walking towards her and the group.

"You want us to start burying?" Tdog asked.

"We need a service. Carol would want that." Andrea suggested and Delilah nodded.

"Yeah, we all want that." Shane agreed and Delilah shared a glance with him. There was a moment of awkward silence.

They all decided to dig graves for Sofia and Hershel's family by the trees and get the truck to carry the rest out to burn. Delilah helped with the digging process. When they were done burying the bodies Delilah went to find her brother. She searched around the place and finally spotted him coming out of Dale's RV.

"Hey." She sprinted up to him.

"Where'd you go?" She asked and Daryl just glared at her.

"I went to Carol. She don't want to have anything to do with Sofia's service." He answered and shrugged. They both started to walk around and talk a little.

"Do you agree with what went down?" Delilah asked curiously, kicking a rock as they walk.

"Yeah, if Shane didn't do that then we wouldn't have known where Sofia was." He shrugged. She nodded her head.

"I guess...do you think Hershel knew about Sofia?" She asked.

"I don't know...D, I just need time to myself for a bit. I almost died for this girl. She's been in this damn barn the whole time." Daryl explained softly and Delilah agreed.

"I know. I understand. Love you brother." Delilah smirked.

"You too," Daryl said back and Delilah wandered off. As she walked away Rick called for her from the farm. Delilah sprinted over.

"What's up?" She asked, walking beside him.

"We might need your help...Beth is in shock and not doing so good and Hershel is missing." Rick explained and Delilah furrowed her eyebrows.

"Missing?" She repeated, walking into the house. Rick led her into the master bedroom where, Shane, Lori, Glenn, and Maggie were in. There were boxes on the bed.

"Did Hershel put these out?" Delilah asked, looking at the boxes.

"Yes." Maggie answered.

"These your step mother's things?" Rick asked Maggie while looking in the boxes. Delilah saw a wedding dress inside.

"He was so sure she would recover. They'd just pick up where they left off." Maggie proclaimed. Shane picked up a flask off the dresser.

"Looks like he found an old friend." Shane held up the flask. Shane tossed the flask over to Rick.

"That belonged to my grandfather, gave it to dad when he died." Maggie took the flask from Rick.

"I didn't take Hershel for a drinker." Rick said.

"No, he gave it up the day I was born. He didn't even allow liquor in the house." Maggie explained.

"Is there a place he went before that like a bar?" Delilah asked and leaned against the wall.

"Yeah, what's the bar in town?" Rick nodded his head.

"Hatlin's. He practically lived there in his drinking days." Maggie answered.

"Betting that's where I'll find him." Rick said and Delilah nodded.

"Yeah, I've seen the place. I'll take you." Glenn told him.

"Delilah, Shane, you guys hold the fort. We will be back as soon as we have Hershel." Rick left with Glenn to get the truck.

After they left Delilah just wandered the farm like she usually did. She would watch for walkers and think about random things. Daryl needed time alone so she didn't really have anyone to visit with besides herself. She examined the fields and the stables. She watched the clouds move. She thought about Merle. Deep inside she knew he was alive. Daryl told her about the vehicle that was taken. It had to be him.

Delilah turned the corner of the stables and saw Shane and Carol. Shane was cleaning off Carol's hands. Shane spotted Delilah and got up. Carol got up as well and walked off.

"Is she okay?" Delilah asked watching Carol walk off.

"No." Shane said softly.

"I can only imagine what she's going through right now." Delilah said, looking at the ground.

"Yeah, are you okay?" He asked her and she nodded.

"Yeah, I'm fine I guess." She shrugged and Shane furrowed his brows.

"You guess?" He recalled and she chuckled.

"I don't know." She shrugged and he smirked.

"You sure are confusing sometimes, princess." Shane joked and Delilah scoffed.

"Well, you confuse me too. A lot actually." Delilah chuckled.

"How so?" He asked.

"I have my reasons and you have yours." Delilah said, biting the inside of her cheek.

"Alright then." Shane chuckled.

"What if our reasons are the same?" Shane asked. Delilah furrowed her eyebrows and looked at him confused. Shane laughed at her and she smiled.

"Whatever you say...I'll see you around, Okay?" Delilah chuckled and Shane nodded.

"Okay." He smiled.

"Okay." Delilah said back and they parted ways.
