Delilah Dixon starts off the apocalypse with her two older brothers. Merle and Daryl. Her and her brothers were known as the red-neck trash in the group, but Shane Walsh saw something else in her.

Delilah woke up quite early to the sound of people in the kitchen. Shane was gone and Daryl was still asleep. She grabbed clothes out of her bag and went into the bathroom to change. Threw a pillow at Daryl making him wake up.
"What the hell?" He said jumping up, startled. Delilah laughed at him.
"Time to get up." She exclaimed hovering over her brother who covered his face with the pillow she threw.
"No." He groaned.
"Everyone's up. Maybe if you didn't drink so much this could be easier." Delilah said, putting her hands on her hips.
"You better get up." Delilah said, hiding a gun in the back of her pants covered by her shirt.
"Yeah, yeah." Daryl said, throwing the pillow at Delilah before she walked out of the door.
Delilah walked over to Tdog and he passed her a plate of eggs.
"Thank you." She said. Tdog nodded his head back at her. She sat down with the group and ate. Shane entered the room and Delilah's eyes widened remembering the event that happened.
"Morning." Dr Jenner said, grabbing coffee. Delilah spotted Daryl walk into the room.
"I'm sorry to ask you a whole bunch of questions but." Dale started.
"But you will anyway." Dr Jenner interrupted.
"We didn't come for the eggs." Andrea said.
"Finish up and I'll show you everything." Dr Jenner said.
Everyone finished and started following Dr Jenner into the room with all the computers. Delilah stood next to Daryl and Shane stood next to her. Delilah's body went stiff. She glared at him and he smirked. Delilah decided to try and ignore him and watch what was going on.
Dr Jenner spoke to the machine to reveal a test subject on a screen in front of the room.
"Very few people got to see this." Dr Jenner started. The screen started zooming into the brain of the test subject. Lights started sprouting in the brain.
"What are those lights?" Carol asked while holding her daughter close to her.
"It's a persons life. Experiences, memories. It's everything. Somewhere in those organic wiring, all of those ripples of light. Is you." He answered while pacing around.
The doctor explained everything that the screen showed. The patient was bitten and the screen showed the events of the brain when people turn. Delilah watched as the brain dies and come back.
"But they're not alive." Rick stated.
"You tell me." Dr Jenner said while pointing to the screen.
"It's nothing like before. Most of that brain is dark."
"Dark, lifeless, dead. The human part of you doesn't come back. Just a shell driven by mindless instinct."
The screen showed a bullet go through the test subjects head and the brain shut down again.
"God, What was that?" Carol asked.
"He shot his patient in the head." Andrea said slowly.
"Dr Jenner I hate to ask just one more question but that clock, it's counting down. What happens at zero?" Dale asks.
"The basement generators. They run out of fuel." He answered.
"And then?" Rick asks. Dr Jenner ignored Rick and walked past him.
"Vi what happens when the power runs out?" Delilah asked the machine.
"When the power runs out facility-wide decontamination will occur." Vi responded.
Everyone got flashlights and ran down in the basement. The air conditioning turned off and she peeked her head out the room to see everyone following Dr Jenner.
Rick, Shane, Glenn, And Tdog ran from out of the basement. They all followed Dr Jenner into the room they were in before.
"Everybody grab your things we are getting out of here now!" Rick yelled while pulling out his gun. Delilah started to head to the door then stopped instantly after an alarm went off.
"What's that?" She asked looking around as red lights flashed.
"Thirty minuets til decontamination." The screen showed a clock counting down.
"Everybody get your stuff now come on let's go!" Shane yelled. Delilah sprinted towards the door behind everyone until the door closed shut. Delilah looked back at Dr Jenner.
Did you just lock us in? He locked us in!" Glenn panicked. Delilah didn't know what to feel.
Shane and Daryl started trying to attack Dr Jenner running at him as dr Jenner recorded something. Dr Jenner explained how the doors won't open and how they won't feel the explosion. Daryl throws his bottle of alcohol on the door.
"Open the damn door!" He yelled. Delilah jumped at the bottle smashing.
Shane and Daryl grab weapons and start beating at the door. Delilah couldn't believe what was going on. She grabbed her gun from behind her pants and pointed it at Dr Jenner's head the same time Daryl launched himself at him with an axe. Shane and Rick stepped in and knocked the gun out of her hand and got Daryl off of Dr Jenner.
Shane cocked his shotgun and pointed it at doctor Jenner.
"You open that door or I'll blow your head off you hear me?" He yelled leaving an echo in the room as Rick tried to stop him. Shane started shooting everything around them. Delilah stepped back, watching the scene unfold.
She looked at the clock counting down. They had about ten minutes. After a couple minutes of arguing he opened the door and they all ran out grabbing their stuff. By the tine they got to the front of the building they had around two minutes left. Delilah shot the glass but nothing happened. Daryl tried to brake the glass with his axe. Carol got Ricks attention while searching for something in her bag.
She pulled out a grenade. Rick pulled the pin and quickly got down. Delilah crouched down with Daryl hovering over her. The class broke and everyone ran outside to their vehicles. Dale and Andrea stumbled out of the building. Rick yelled for them to get down. Delilah got down in the truck with Daryl and covered her head and ears. The explosion shook the ground and left the CDC to nothing.
