As the sun went down everyone was gearing up and getting ready to go. They piled in two vehicles and started driving. Delilah sat in the passenger seat with Shane in the drivers. The ride was silent as they drove leaving every memory in Georgia they had left.
It was so dark they could barely see even with headlights. A sudden stop in front of them followed with banging made them stop behind them. Walkers came up from Ricks car and started banging on theirs.
"What the fuck?" Delilah exclaimed sitting up in her seat. Shane grunted in frustration. Delilah peeked out through a gap between walkers and saw Glenn and Aaron run into the field. She rolled her eyes and opened the car door defending the walkers off her.
"What are you doing?" Shane faintly asked getting out of the car with her. She used her tomahawk as a shield to get enough distance to use her gun. They fought the walkers until they caught up to Ricks group.
"Nice plan." Delilah teased sarcastically making Rick roll his eyes. Delilah's eyes trailed to their car covered in blood with guts in the vent. There ain't no way they were getting out of there with one car.
A flare went off in the distance. "You've got to be kidding me." Rick cursed, using the other flare he got from Aaron on a walker.
The luminous red of the flare in the dead's skull gave them more light. After covering each other for quite some time Glenn called them over and led them through the field, loosing the walkers behind them.
Glenn gave them a run down on how Aaron saved his life. He led them to a little shop area. Everyone on the RV was there. Delilah noticed Aaron run into a separate room. He introduced them to his husband. His ankle had been broken. They all decided to take camp there for the night before continuing on to get some rest.

The next morning they got more vehicles and continued on their journey. Delilah thought about a lot of things just sitting there in their vehicle. She was nervous and excited. She tried not to get too excited considering their luck. She envisioned a fresh start for everyone. Most importantly she envisioned a fresh start with Shane.
As the vehicle came to a stop it woke Delilah up from her slumber. She looked out the window and saw the walls in front of them exactly from the picture.
She furrowed her brows and looked at Shane beside her. They both excited the car and stood with the rest of the group. They stood there in silence listening to the commotion inside the walls. It wasn't like Noah's place, there were people inside. A smile formed a Delilah's face which mirrored everyone else's.
The gates slowly opened revealing a beauty neighborhood of houses. Shane's hand made it to her lower back guiding her as they walked in the walls. Deanna greeted them from inside with a cart.
