Delilah and Daryl made their way through the grass and down to the graves. It's been a while since someone had to dig a grave. Now that people were dropping like flies, the shovels were coming handy again.

Delilah put a bandana over her nose and stared at the bodies covered up next to her. She let out a big sigh and dug the shovel in the ground with her foot on the blade.

They got one grave done each before Delilah spotted Rick coming down their way. She looked at him from the distance wiping her forehead with her arm, sweat caked her skin.

"Glad you were in there." Daryl commented, patting the dirt down next to him. "I wasn't much use without my gun." Rick said in defeat.

"You were. Don't put yourself down for that." Delilah stated.

"Yeah, all this time you've been taking off, you earned it. We wouldn't be here without you." Daryl assured. Rick picked up one of the extra shovels and started to make another hole.

"It was all of us." Rick objected.

"It was you first. You gonna help us figure this out?" Daryl questioned.

"We could use you on the council." Delilah added.

"I screwed up too many times. All those call you got to make, I start down that road...I almost lost my boy, who he was. Whatever else this place needs I'm here for it." Rick defused.

"Like I said, you earned it. But for what it's worth you see mistakes. I see when shit hits, you're standing there with a shovel." Daryl referred to the shovel in their hands, digging graves.

"Rick!" Maggie called in panic running towards them. "Daryl, Delilah!"

The three of them perked their heads up. Walkers were crowding the fence in one big pile making it lean in.

Delilah ran with Rick and Daryl and caught up with Shane, Sasha, and Tyrese, with Glenn and Maggie. She grabbed a skinny sharp object off the fence and helped clear as much of the walkers as she could off the fence. She plunged the spear in the walkers heads one by one but nothing worked.

"Someone feeding these things?" Sasha asked in disbelief pointing at dead, half eaten rats on the floor.

"Looks like it." Delilah shrugged before stabbing another walker in the eye. The fence started to lean even further and soon it would be collapsed. The group pushed up on the fence, avoiding contacting with the walkers and much as possible.
