Defiantly not me hoping I don't mess this up XD

Update after I finished this chapter: I think I messed this up :D

It's so hard to find songs that go with the tone of the chapters TmT

Also, this could be a slight TW of violence, intimidating? situations, and mention of attempted nonconsensual no no time, to put it lightly. Just a heads up! ouo

-Y/n's POV-

Resting my forehead on the door to my room, a small thump echoed through the wood. My legs ached from standing outside said for a straight half-hour, Mikoto on the other side, ignoring me as I jiggled the doorknob once again.

"Mikoto," I deadpanned, my anger having been long gone by now, but was once again creeping up from nothing being let into my own room. "We have to talk about this," I yawned, the sun had gone down after I had left Shouto's room, the boy standing beside me now, waiting for me patiently as I tempted Mikoto.

Still having to receive an answer from the horned boy, I leaned against the door, sliding down to rest my back against it. Shouto watching me as I did so. "Fine. Then I'll just have to sleep out here. In the cold. Probably gonna die. Get eaten by the hallway monster or something," I dramatized, hoping that would get the boy to move.

"I don't think there is a monster in the hallway, Y/n. But if you'd like you can stay in my room," Shouto spoke, his heterochromia eyes looking down at me, concerned. I laughed, waving at him.

"No, Shouto, there's no monster, I was just trying to guilt-trip him into letting me in my room. Didn't Natsuo ever do that sort of thing to you when you were younger?" I questioned, once again knocking on the door.

Hearing shuffling from beside me, I turned as Shouto sat next to me on the floor, his thigh brushing against mine, my school skirt riding up a bit, but before I got the chance to fix it, Shouto had beat me to it, keeping his eyes forward as he did so.

"Sorry," He whispered. His embarrassed mumble causing a smile to carve itself onto my lips.

"It's fine," I spoke back, my words hushed as I watched the boy rest his hands in his lap, his thigh not making an effort to move.

Looking back down to his hands, I watched as he intertwined his fingers, only to pull them apart to pick at his nails. My hands suddenly becoming numb as I watched, the feeling of wanting to hold his hands growing with every movement. Every time he moved one of his lanky fingers, the tendons on the top of his hands moved slightly, the sight sending heat to my cheeks, before the Heterochromia-eyed boy, cleared his throat.

Quickly averting my eyes from him, he turned towards me, my attention going back to him acting as if I hadn't already been looking at him. Opening his mouth to speak, he was suddenly cut off, Mikoto swinging the door open, causing the two of us the fall backward, my head hitting the floor in the process.

Hissing in annoyance, I held the back of my head, glaring up at Mikoto, only for my eyes to widen, his eye red and puffy as he choked out a sob. Immediately, I got on my knees, going to Mikoto's height, my arms taking hold of his arms tightly, my eyes scanning his face.

"Mikoto? What's the matter, baby? Is it about before? Are you hurt?" Lifting his chin to get a better look, my attention turned to the small television in my room, the sound of a crying girl coming through the speakers. I sighed, dropping my hand back to his arm, giving it a gentle rub, "You know you shouldn't be watching scary movies alone at nig-"

"What are you doing- St-stop it!"

Hearing the girl's voice on the TV, I froze. My eyes slowly making their way to the screen, the scene of a girl tied to a chair in a dimly lit room-filling my vision. Her attention was on a figure off-screen, the blinking recording light making it seem like a homemade film. The signal cutting in and out as the brunette screamed, tears streaming down her face as she kicked towards the man walking towards her.
