"Um, could I get a chocolate cone and bottled water please?" I smiled gently at the middle-aged man, his partially wrinkled cheeks lifting with a kind smile.
"Sure thing kid," Turning to make up our orders, my attention went back to Mikoto who's hand gripped mine in a tight embrace that seemed to stiffen as he stared off into the crowd. Raising my eyebrow in worry, I scanned the crowd seeing nothing out of the ordinary.
"What ya looking for Miko?" I asked, giving his arm a light tug to grab his attention.
"Nothing," His quick reply edged me on further as I took another look at the crowd, the realization hitting me as I watched a young girl with her mother and father enjoying the festival happily, the three of them being one of the many families that walked around Mikoto and me.
Sighing heavily I pulled Mikoto up off the ground giving him a tight hug as his head found its way to the crook of my neck. "They'll be back soon. Alright? We just have to stay strong. You can do that. Can't you?" Earning a small nod from the boy, I smiled softly feeling his horns brush by my ear. "Your horns are growing a bit huh? Pretty soon they'll be bigger than Granma's," Feeling his head perk up, I turned my face towards his. The boy's eyes shined with glee as he unconsciously reaches one hand up to touch his horn.
"You think so?" He questioned making me smile while giving him a small nod.
"Here you are kids," Turning back to the food clerk, I took the cone handing it off to Mikoto who went to town on the frozen treat that seemed to be a bit bigger than I anticipated.
"How much for everything?" Reaching for my back pocket for the change Mikoto received from Grandma I was quickly stopped as the man protested my actions.
"No need, you deserve it kid. Good luck with the festival and becoming a hero." Blinking at the comment, my cheeks flushed slightly as I bowed my head in respect.
"Well thank you. I hope that someday I can be of service to you and your loved ones," Earning a quiet smile from the tanned male, we bid our farewells as I made my way back to the arena hearing the excitement roar from the crowds as if seemed that the first round had already begun.

"Behave and eat your ice cream," I warned, taking my place in an empty seat between Mina and Gina.
"I thought I was gonna go sit with Granma," Mikoto asked in a hushed whisper (Not that it was necessary with all the yelling around us).
"Yeah well my battel is supposed to start up soon and I ain't gonna be late because I can't find her," I explained putting my attention onto the fight.
Midoriya was trying to push back his opponent out of the ring, but they just kept throwing punches, most of them landing square in Deku's face. I felt Mikoto tense under my arms and in a small act of comfort I gave him small squeeze as my sights stayed on Deku as he threw his opponent out of the ring.
"Shinso is out of bounds! Midoriya advances to the next round!"
"Uh, that was so nerve-wracking!!" Uraraka whined, slouching back into her seat.
"Turning the tables at the last moment! A classic Midoriya maneuver!" Iida cheered, musing over his friend's victory.
"Heh yeah! I wasn't even here for half of the match, but that was awesome!" I spoke up, causing everyone's attention to set on me and almost immediately turn into a look of surprise besides for a select few.
"L/n! Where on earth did you get that child? Where are his parents!?" Iida scolded while chopping in my direction causing me to sweatdrop as a course of other remarks began to brew.
"Did you steal him!?"
"Is he yours?!" Turning our attention to Denki, we all silently thanked Bakugou as he smacked the back of the other blonde's head.
"Yeah, Kaminari, I definitely have a seven-year-old kid at age fifteen,"
"You had him when you were eight!?" Again, Bakugou did the class all a favor smacking sparky in the back of the head.
"You dumbass he's her annoying ass brother!" Bakugou yelled, earning a look from Mikoto as he stood up on my lap trying to reach for the explosive boy.
"Hey! I'm not annoying! You are!" I groaned as the two of them blew raspberries as an attempt to get on the other's nerves.
"That it. We're going to find grandma,"
"What!? Why!?" Mikoto whined in protest making me huff in frustration.
"Becuase I have to fight soon, and Grandma would kill me if I leave you here alone." Watching as Mikoto's lip went into a small pout as he crossed his arms.
"Kero, I could watch your brother for you L/n, kero." Looking over to Tsu I gave a slight smile.
"Thank you, Tsu, but he really is a handful an-Ugh," Leaning over in pain, I held my stomach as Mikoto retracted from my gut with a mischievous grin on his face.
"Just let her take me! Your friends are way cooler than Grandmas!"
"She brought her friends!?" I choked not know that they were here watching the festival.

Walking down to the corridors, my mind went to the thought of watching the match between Todoroki and Sero. Todorki seemed a bit on edge today. He acted cold towards everyone today and gave direct answers, well more direct than usual.
'Maybe telling Todoroki good luck wouldn't hurt'
Smiling to myself, I turned onto my heel making my way to Todoroki's entrance. ENtering his hall, I was surprised when I saw him turn the corner only to stop abruptly.
"What do you want?"
"Eh," Sweat began to form on my forehead afraid that he thought I was following him. Opening my mouth to explain when another, much deeper voice came from around the corner.
"You're acting disgracefull Shoto,"
'What? Who the hell-'
"If you used the power in your left side you would have had an overwhelming victory in the obstacle course and calvary battle."
'His left side? Isn't that his fire?'
"It's time to stop this childish rebellion of yours. You have a duty to surpass that imbecile All Might. Do you understand what I'm saying? You're different from your siblings. You're my greatest masterpiece,"
'Masterpiece?'
"I will win this match just only using Mom's quirk. I won't give you the pleasure of seeing me use yours."
Biting my lower lip in irritation, I poked my head around the corner to see who the hell was speaking to Todorokii with such disgrace and distaste. My eyes widen in fear as I looked at one of my idol standing there, his arms crossed and a scowl smeared across his lips.
"Endeavor?"
Catching the attention of the number two hero, I froze in place. His cold eyes staring directly into mine. By now Todoroki was already entering the arena and it was just the two of us. Staring at the hero my gut turned. First in embarrassment, then fear, and finally hatred.
'Ooooh me and thick prick are gonna have a few words.'
"What the hell is your problem?"
