Life would be so much easier if I could just put the scenes that play in my head into words without having to actually think about it. ._. I know I'd at least get chapters out a lot faster that way at least.

I'm sorry it took so long to get this chapter out! I'm hoping the next one won't take as long!

Though this chapter is a lot longer! Nearly at 12,000 words (0-0;) literally 59 words away...

-Y/n's POV-

"What do you mean...kidnapped?"

"I'm afraid, your Father manipulated and took advantage of your mother," Tsuragamae spoke. A small bark escaped him as the Chief of Police did his best to explain, "He made her believe she was abandoned by her family and friends. A sick, but common tactic used in situations like this one. He got her to trust nobody but him, and convinced her to move away with him and your grandmother, Baba,"

My gut twisted at the sound of her name. A hard lump formed in the back of my throat, "You mean, she knew?"

"No kid," Aizawa intervened, "She didn't know... Not at first. Diachi is very good at what he does. And when he first showed up at your Grandmother's door with a girl. It only took a matter of weeks before the whole town grew convinced of the story he gave.

-Hestia's POV-

"Oh! Please- you just have to meet my new daughter-in-law! Come! I'll introduce you!" Baba mused happily, the red solo cup in her hand doing its best to not spill over as she searched the backyard.

Staying close to Diachi's side, Hestia's shoulders stiffened seeing the older woman make her way through the crowd with, yet another, set of friends for her to meet.

With half-lidded eyes glancing up from his cup, Diachi's attention dropped to his wife. His voice was low to not gain anyone's attention but hers. His words were muffled by his cup as he took a drink, "Relax and remember what I told you,"

As a cold shiver ran down her back, Hestia's shoulders dropped. A bright smile graced her features as Baba greeted her with a similar expression. Diachi's hand snaked its way around Hestia's back as he made his way into the conversation that had yet to begin.

"There she is! Hiding away from everyone!" Baba laughed jokingly. Her dark, curled, hair bounced with every step as she grinned ear to ear. Her two large Ram horns were surrounded by strands of grey that began to take over her aging frame.

Reaching up to her face, Baba gently took her by the chin. Giving Hestia's face a small shake as she hummed in amusement, "She's just so shy! We just have to get you out of that shell of yours,"

Letting out an awkward laugh for herself, Hestia's sentence was cut short as the arm that once sat on her side had now grabbed hold of her arm. Diachi gave her a side hug as he let out a large laugh, "What can I say? She can't stay away from me!"

Watching the exchange, baba's friends let out a small 'Aw,'. Her hand quickly reached up to smack her own partner's chest. Sending them a pointed look alongside it, "When was the last time you held me like that?"

Waving her friends off, Baba's attention was quickly turned back to them, "Can you believe they've been together for a year already?"

Shooting the boy a jokingly offended scoff. The woman was quick to scold him, "And how come none of us were invited to your guy's wedding?" She questioned. Eyes falling to Hestia, as the woman continued to gesture towards Diachi "One day, this kid up and leaves- out of nowhere- for some big fancy job and the one thing we hear from him from the entire time he's gone is that he got married without inviting any of us or giving any sort of heads up!"
