"My son's a killer?! What about her?! She's the one who ran off with villains! Who know's what she's done!?"
"Your kid just pushed my niece off of the school's roof in front of his classmates!"
"They don't feel safe!"
"My niece doesn't feel safe! She gets death threats wherever she goes and now she's almost been killed by a kid her age!"
Hearing the two women go back and forth, I stayed beside Gina, her eyes not meeting anyone as she held onto her sides anxiously. Her neck was once again littered with small scratches.
'She was just getting over that,' I frowned slightly, shifting in the seat next to her.
Sitting on the small bench located in Principle Nezu's office, the tension in the room was more than uncomfortable and stiff.
She had woken up not long after the incident occurred and was found to have nothing physically wrong with her. Though she had suffered a panic attack after the fall, she was still alive, and for now, that's all that had mattered to me.
Feeling my phone buzz a few times, I fished it out of my dance practice uniform the check it. Messages from both Mina and Iida continued to blow up my phone; Mina demanding answers as to why we were slacking off as Iida demanded that I was back by curfew.
Giving an anxious glance towards Gina, I gently placed my hand near her bouncing leg, gathering her attention.
Her eyes were tired, her mood making it rather obvious she was tuning most of whatever was being spoken out.
"Everyone is wondering where we are...do you want me to-"
"Yeah-yeah, do whatever," She waved off, her eyes closing in frustration for a moment, "I really don't care right now," Taking her hands, she rubbed them down her face slowly, the two's woman's voices growing louder.
Ignoring them, I decided it would be best to at least let Iida know what had happened, seeing as he would be more than willing to explain to the class in a more serious manner than Mina would.
Iida- L/n, I think it would be best if you and Yakatama began to make your way back to the dorms immediately! Sincerely, Iida.
Rereading his text, I quickly wrote an apology, making him aware of the situation the two of us had fallen into, making it clear that no one had been severely injured, no matter how deserving it would have been.
Glancing up crossed the room, I narrowed my sights onto Jamaki. His green eyes already glaring back at me as he held an icepack to his head, determined to be the victim in this.
"You're niece is a slut and a whore!" Jamaki's mother yelled, taking another step towards Gina's Aunt, the two fumming.
Scoffing, Rokuda took a step forwards as well, her anxious husband close behind her as he was more than wanting the two women to calm themselves. Jamaki's Father looking rather enraged himself, though seemed to be distant from the fight. "Excuse me?!"
"You've seen the video! The way those men just- just helped themselves to her! She just let it happen, and I bet you she liked the attention!"
At this, Gina visibly recoiled at the statement, her hand slowly reaching out for mine. Taking it in mine quickly, I gave it a gentle squeeze, rubbing my thumb crossed her knuckles. Though she didn't look towards me, I knew she had calmed down, but not by much.
