-Y/n's POV-

'The Musutafu Duo; Updated June 29, XXXX

Two unidentified beings, known as the Musutafu Duo, had begun their small-time crime spree in late April of this year. Police say their crimes seem to go at random but they are suspecting a pattern. All of their crimes seemed to revolve around a recently demolished bank belonging to the Yoshaga family, whether or not these attacks are directed at the family or not is unclear to
this point.

The Mustafa Duo's identities have not been identified yet, but these crimes are going under investigation under the eyes of the local Police and small-time hero; Lumify who claims "While these crimes do not seem major at the time being, it is well aware to us that the Mustafa Duo are hitting places at an incredible rate. In which we advise all shop owners to be aware of any suspicious costumers and to lock your possesions up each time you close,"

Another case that police say may tie into the Mustafa Duo is the Yoshaga Bank case. One that took place at the recently demolished bank eleven years ago. The bank's alarms had gone off late in the night when authorities had got to the scene the bank was set on fire and was on the verge of collapsing. While on the lookout for anything suspicious, police heard a loud noise and proceeded to look in that area, finding a young girl the age of four, she was found with multiple lacerations and taken to a nearby hospital. Police says the young girl claimed that she had run away from home when her quirk had activated, but she refused to show her quirk to police.'

"L/n,"

Feeling a tap on my forhead I glanced up across the table. My phone on the table showing a recently updated article of the 'Mustafa Duo'. Todorki's eraser was centimeters away from my face as he leaned over the table. A curious gaze in his eyes as his textbook was opened to a random page.

"Are you sure you want to study today? You seem out of it," I blinked slowly while looking in Todorokie's heterochromia eyes. My mind going blank for a moment before I gave a small smile shaking my head.

Pressing the side button on my phone, the screen went black. My eyes broke from Todoroki's as I glanced down at my book reading along the lines trying to catch up on where we were at.

"Page 146,"  He spoke, his eyes burrowing holes into my head as I kept my gaze on the textbook, flipping the pages silently.

"Thanks," I placed my cheek in the palm of my hand, staring at the page with no real intent to read the words written on the off white torn pages.

There was an off silence between the two of us. Nothing really making noise besides the light chatter of the people around us and the late day traffic outside.

I heard Todoroki sigh half-heartedly, standing from his spot in our booth. Glancing up at his tall form my eyes widened slightly as he folded up his book and placed it away in his bag.

"Wait, Todoroki what are you do-"

The dueled haired boy grasped my wrist, pulling me out of the booth. Taking my book and placing it in his bag along with tossing a twenty on the table for our drinks.

"We're going somewhere else," He spoke, dragging me out the door of the small restaurant.

"Where?" Todoroki stayed quiet while he continued down the sidewalk, holding my wrist firmly, the cold from his quirk sending chills up my arm.

I stayed quiet as we walked around town, the people around us diminishing into smaller crowds as the sun began to set and dark clouds rolled in.

Todoroki slowed to a stop, his hand letting go of my wrist slowly. His face turns to meet mine, our eyes meeting halfway before I averted my gaze.

"What is this all about Todoroki?" I mumbled, crossing my arm lazily as I took in our surroundings. There were small buildings and shops on either side of the road, our two figures on the sidewalk furthest away from the little people there were.

"You seemed like you had your mind on something. If you want to talk we can," Todoroki continued to walk, but at a slower pace then last time.

"But what about studying for exams?"

"We can study some other day. You are obviously not in the right state of mind," I stared at the back of Todoroki's head. The streets baren of anyone as we passed the park our surroundings becoming more and more familiar as we walked.

I sighed, looking at the ground. A sad smile on my lips as we walked.

"I should say the same thing to you," Our walking stopped once again as Todoroki looked back at me over his shoulder, "You were so... distant at the beginning of the year, but around the time of  our internships...you changed,"

Todoroki stayed silent, his weight shifting from one leg to the other.

"We all changed after that really, but you... you became so much more open, though I'm not exactly sure what happened or if anything did but I'm thankful for whatever it was," I glanced up, Todoroki's eyes on me. His face as stoic as ever, causing me to realize what I was just doing, "Eh!? Um... sorry! I have no idea where that came from! I'm just rambling I guess. I didn't mean to sound weird or anything I just noticed how much you've grown as a person- Eh there I go again!"

"My Mother,"

Tilting my head I looked up at the boy with a curious gaze.

"What are you talking about?"

"When I was little my mother had taken a ht kettle and burned the left side of my face," Todoroki's hand reached up and cover his burnt eye, his eyes one the dirty sidewalk, "My Father had her sent away after that. I was to busy training with him to ever go visit her though. But after the sports festival, you and Midoriya helped me realize that my fireside was apart of me. After I had come to terms with that I decided to go visit my Mother," Watching the boy's hand drop down to his side, his heterochromia eyes look down at me, "Maybe that's why you think I've changed,"

Opening my mouth to speak, I was interrupted as a small drop of rain landed on the ground between the two of us. It's sudden appearance catching us off guard. A few more followed after it before the slight drizzle turned into a downpour. The cold droplets seeping into my skin as Todoroki gestured for me to follow him. Our figures running down the streets until we took shelter under a bus stop. The rain smacking on the metal roof above us creating a loud noise, hurting my ears slightly.

Breathing heavily from running, I shivered slightly as the rain began to take effect on my quirk making me feel tired. Dropping down on the bus stop's bench, I glanced outside of the glass walls. My heart stopping slightly as I say the silhouette of what used to be the bank.

'Why here?'

Prying my eyes from the construction, my gaze landed on Todoroki. His body slightly slouched as he sat on the same bench as me. His hair and cloaths soaked from the sudden rain that pounded outside relentlessly.

I sighed giving in to the heavy feeling in my gut.

"You know," I began, my loud voice rising over the sound of the rain, catching the red and white-haired boy's attention as he watched me, "You weren't wrong when you said I was acting strange,"
