-Shoto's POV-

Standing outside Endevores office doors, the four stood silently, their eyes staring off into space as their attention stayed listening to the muffled yelling coming from inside the Pro's office.

Their internship for the day was cut short, the route being taken over by other heroes from the agency they now resided in.

The air was thick with tension as the yelling continued, the only other sound that was made was the emergency calls being taken in by the heroes tending the phones.

Sitting on the ground, Gina leaned her back against the wall, one leg tucked in her arms close to her chest as a loud bang was heard, the girl's shoulders jumping slightly when she felt the small vibrations through the wall.

Standing off to the side, Bakugou had his arms crossed over his chest, watching as the pro heroes in the room sparred a few nervous and curious glances at the door any time the noise picked up from inside it.

Midoriya sat beside Gina, his mind racing with different theories on what it was Endevore was saying and why Y/n's attitude towards situations seemed to be changing. Often reminding himself of yesterday's encounter with the girl during lunch.

As for Shoto, he stood closest to the large office doors, one arm crossed over his chest as his other rested on top of it, hand just under his chin as his fingers absent-mindedly played with his lips, his eyes focused on the floor ahead of him as he gave his full attention to the conversation behind him.

Though unable to make out the words being spoken, he was still able to make out that Endevore seemed to be the only one doing the yelling, the only one even saying anything for that matter.

Shoto was used to it, the yelling that seemed to be so loud it felt as if your chest was shaking from the sheer force the older man would use. The heavy boots shifting against the wood every so often as he paced, the heat from his flames seeping from the cracks under the door, and the undoubted hand movements he was making made something inside the boy feel unnerved.

Knowing Y/n was caught in the middle of it made his stomach ache. His feet would shift every so often when he'd lean in closer towards the door, preparing himself to make an entrance if things were to get out of hand.

Endeavor had promised his kids that he was changing and granted, thus far he was, but something inside Shoto had yet to let go of the past, the father he had to grow up with was now in a closed room with his girlfriend, yelling towards her.

Understanding Y/n could stand up for herself, he also understood the fact that something had changed in her demeanor.

Whenever she was confronted before, Y/n was quick to bite back and give her two cents, especially when it came to his Father.

But for the past eight minutes of criticism and belittlement from Endevore, she hasn't said a word.

-Y/n's POV-

As Endevore paced the room, yelling at me about how horrible the situation could have been if Shoto hadn't jumped in, all I could do was look at his boots. Though, even then they seemed cloudy and would once in a while double whenever my focus drifted from them.

By the way my ears rang, I could tell he was loud and even though he was feet in front of me, his words felt as if he were yelling from miles away, only allowing me to catch small portions.

Even if I was almost run over a half hour again, I couldn't seem to shake off the weight in my stomach, the feeling now traveling to my arms and legs.

I felt tired. Not wanting to do anything besides lay in bed the rest of the day. But I knew deep down that couldn't happen. I had too much to do.
