Exam Day

-Y/n's POV-

"Now then, let begin the last test. Remember, it's possible to fail this final, "I bit my lip as Aizawa explained, the nerves of the test finally kicking it into full gear, "So if you wanna go to amp don't do any stupid mistakes,"

"Uh, why are all the teachers here?" Jiro asked, her hero costume on, as well as everyone else. 

"I expect that many of you had gathered information to expect some idea of what you'll be facing with today,"

As Aizawa gave out his explanation, Denki jumped up from beside me, throwing his arms in the air, startling me slightly.

"WE'RE FIGHTING THOS BIG OL' MEATAL ROBOTS!"

Mina was close to follow Denki's lead, as she too began to cheer excitedly, "Fireworks! S'mores! Here we come, camp!"

I cracked a smile watching as Denki and Mina celebrated, only for it to quickly wipe away watching Mr. Aizawa's scarf began to stir, only for Principle Nezu to pop out, his tiny paw shoving Aizawa's face lightly to the side to present himself.

"This year's test will be completely different, for various reasons!"

'Aw! Come on! I was looking forward to kicking robot ass!'

"Principle Nezu!"

"You're changing things?!" 

"The tests now have a new focus. There will be hero work, of course, but also teamwork and combat between actual people. So what does that mean for you? You, students, will be working together in pairs and your opponents will be one of our esteemed UA teachers! Isn't that fabulous!"

"We're...fighting the teachers?"Uraraka asked, baffled by the news.

"Not to sound rude or anything Principle Nezue, but how do you expect us to pass then! You guys are all pros!"I protested, only to have been gone unanswered as Mr. Aizawa continued.

"Additionally your partners and your opponents have already been chosen. They were determined by discrimination, based on various factors including, fighting style, grades, and in your personal relationships,"

'I wonder who I'm partnered up with,'

"First Yayorozu, L/n, and Todoroki against me,"

'We're dead'

"Then we have Midoriya, paired alongside Bakugou and Yakatama,"

Midoriya and Bakugou, flinched irritably, while Gina looked rather indifferent about the whole situation, small bags laid dormant under her eyes as well as a tired look on her face.

'Now that I'm thinking about it, Gina has been kind of distant the past couple o exam days... then again everyone has been under a lot of stress lightly, and she has been putting in a lot of hours with Bakugou and Kirishima to study,'

"And their opponent is,"

Suddenly the ground shook, a small cloud of dust rolling up as the number one hero stood in front of the three.

"I AM HERE! TO FIGHT!"

My eye's widened seeing their opponent.

"We're up against Allmight!?"

"Alright this has to be a joke, you're kidding right?!"

'ALLMIGHT!? You know what? Never mind, you know what I think I'm fine with having my teacher being my opponent,'

"YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER, ESPECIALLY YOU BOYS! IF YOU WANT TO WIN."

The three looked at one another nervously, as the class looked on at them in relief.
