CHAPTER SIX |
you can't touch this***
"HEY, KURT INVITED ME TO A FOOTBALL game at his old school. You wanna come with us?" Blaine asked when they were settling into bed about a week after Sectionals.
Things were still a little awkward between him and Kurt, but it was getting back to normal. He hadn't really hung out with him since the freakout with his dad, instead focusing on Morgan. He'd come to the decision that his crush on Kurt was hurting more than helping and he actually liked Morgan (maybe not as much as Kurt, but enough).
He hummed. "Can I bring Morgan?"
"I don't think he'll mind. He's the one who introduced you guys." Blaine noted and Jason nodded, accepting the invitation.
"Okay, sure."
When Blaine hummed and turned off the light, Jason faced the other direction and pulled the cover over his face. He grabbed his phone and pulled up Kurt's contact.
Hey, Blaine invited me to that football. Can I bring Morgan?
Almost immediately, Kurt answered him back.
lil spy 🌈
sure, that's fine. see you on friday :)
Jason frowned slightly, but sent back a smily face before he set his phone back on the charger. Something was up with Kurt lately. He'd noticed a change in his friend since the situation at his house and it wasn't like Jason could blame him. It was awkward and uncomfortable and he hated that Kurt had to see him like that. It made him feel stupid. But he was trying to move on from that and wallowing in his problems and worrying about every little thing Kurt did was not helping him at all, so he simply snuggled into his cover and tried to go to sleep. It took half the night before he managed to close his eyes.

It was the middle of December and it was so fucking cold out, Jason was sure one of his balls had frozen and fallen right off. Blaine laughed at him a couple times as he cuddled into Morgan's warmth. She was a lot warmer than he was and he had no idea where she was hiding her body heat, but he was absorbing as much as was humanly possible without feeling like a creep.
Jason hadn't spent too much time watching the game. Apparently there was a lot of drama going on within the team and half the team got kicked off, making the glee girls step in for them and though Jason was all about female empowerment, there was only about two or three girls on the line that actually stood a chance against the other team. He thought about Morgan being on the line and chuckled to himself, trying not to imagine her tiny body being knocked over by a huge lineman.
Morgan smiled at him fondly, placing her hand in his gloved one, trying to warm it up for him. "What are you laughing about?"
Jason chuckled. "Just thinking of you getting tackled."
Morgan playfully glared at him, yanking her hand out of his grasp and slapping his arm. "You're an asshole."
Jason pouted, clasping his hands together. "Pretty please forgive me. I promise I'll be good."
She rolled her eyes at him but couldn't help smiling, laying her head on his shoulder. He leaned against her too, before a cough interrupted his comfort and peered up at Kurt giving him a knowing look and nodding his head over to the concession stand. He wanted him to follow him.
Jason sighed, kissing Morgan's forehead. "Hey, I'll be right back. Do you want anything?"
"Another hot chocolate would be great." she prompted and he winked at her before he was following Kurt down the stands to the concession stand.
