"SIMPLY PUT, I'M IN LOVE." BLAINE was explaining to Jason in the privacy of their dorm room as Kurt walked in. They had an open door policy at this point and besides, it was Wednesday which was their study date day. Well, study day. Jason stopped calling it a date a long time ago.

"Oh, hey Kurt." Blaine smiled warmly before he got off his bed. "I'm gonna grab something from the cafeteria. Do you guys want anything?"

Jason shook his head and Kurt replied that he was fine, so Blaine nodded and headed out. Kurt grinned, jumping on Jason's bed in his usual best friend way. Jason chuckled at the suddenness as he bounced up a bit.

"Could you not break my bed?" Jason teased him.

Kurt grinned. "That's what she said."

"Oh my God. We've corrupted you." Jason groaned, throwing his head back on the pillow.

Kurt barked out a laugh as he laid down next to Jason. After a bout of comfortable silence (the kind that always seemed to settle around them), Kurt spoke. "So, who was Blaine talking about?"

Jason turned his head to face Kurt and frowned. Should he crush his dreams and tell him about Jeremiah or was that too cruel? He figured it might be just as cruel to not tell him and let Kurt feel like an idiot afterwards.

"Oh, um..." Jason trailed off, trying to find the words to tell him. It was an awkward position to be in because had this come up a few weeks ago, he would have told Kurt the truth immediately so that his affections would switch from Blaine to himself, but now he was just friends with Kurt and he felt this strange urge to protect him.

Jason coughed awkwardly before he answered. "I, um, I don't know really. You sorta came in before he could drop any names." And the minute Jason said it, he really regretted it.

Kurt's smile managed to grow and that was when he realized he fucked up. That admission meant that there was room for him to plant himself into being the love of Blaine's life and Jason knew that was far from the truth. Blaine was historically shit with his feelings. He was about as smart as a box of rocks when it came to social cues and he was always one of those people that just never saw when someone liked him. Jason never quite understood it, but as long as he could remember, he had always been the person telling Blaine when someone liked him. He just wasn't great at the boyfriend thing which was why he had yet to have one so far.

"Do you think he might like me?" Kurt mummered barely audible. When Jason looked at him, his eyes were soft. It reminded him of the reasons that he fell for Kurt. His eyes had always been his favorite thing. They managed to tell so many different stories. He could fall in love with them all over again if he wanted to, but he had to remind himself that things were different now that he was with Morgan.

Jason shrugged, faking a smile. He was certain Kurt could see right through him, but he hoped it wasn't strickingly obvious. "I mean, anything's possible. And who wouldn't want to date you?"

Kurt smacked his arm. "Flattery will get you nowhere."

"You're in my bed, aren't you?" Jason teased him, making Kurt send him a playful glare.

Kurt sat up. "Whatever. You wish I was in your bed for real."

Don't tempt me, please.

"Now, get out your French homework. We have an oral report on Friday and you suck." Kurt ordered Jason around. He stuck his tongue out at the older boy, but began pulling out his homework. And just like that, the awkwardness of Kurt's proposition and Blaine's feelings were gone.
