BLAINE'S TRANSFER TOOK EVERYONE by surprise. Everyone but Jason, that is. He sort of saw this coming. He knew Kurt had been pressuring him a little bit to transfer to McKinley so they could be together more and Jason didn't fault him for that. He would be doing the same thing if Kurt was his boyfriend. But he wasn't.

He expected to feel a little more sad that Blaine was leaving than he actually was. Of course he was going to miss Blaine, but he had his own distractions now. Namely Sebastian. They'd spent at least once a week making out since the day they met and now that Sebastian had been promoted to captain, they'd been spending even more time together.

Jason grinned down at his phone, about to type out a reply before a hand was patting his shoulder and he turned to be met with Kurt's beautiful face. He stuffed his phone back in his pocket, completely forgetting about his rendezvous with Sebastian as he pulled the older boy into a tight hug.

"Jay..." Kurt sighed out happily.

"Hey, prince." Jason looked just as happy, relaxing in Kurt's grip. He hadn't seen him since Pride and God, he missed him so much. Was it a red flag that every moment he spent making out with Sebastian he imagined it was Kurt instead?

Quickly into his benefits situation with Sebastian, he had noticed the similarities between Kurt and Sebastian. They both styled their hair the same and had irredescent eyes. Sebastian was a bit taller, but otherwise, they had a similar physique. Personality-wise, that's where things got dicey. Kurt was everything sweet. Sebastian was everything crude. Kurt loved fashion. Sebastian's fashion sense allocated to a bunch of ugly polos and khakis from Abercrombie & Fitch. He was truly an embarrassment to be seen in public with.

Sometimes he felt bad for imagining Kurt when he was kissing Sebastian, but he also knew he was not the only one Sebastian was kissing. That point being made perfectly clear when he let go of Kurt and noticed that familiar swoop of a hair sitting straight across from a gelmet that was eerily similar to his best friend.

"Is that Blaine?" Jason frowned, pointing over to the table across the café.

Kurt squinted his eyes, peering over at his boyfriend and the man he didn't know, but Jason knew all too well. "That's a Dalton blazer. Why doesn't he look familiar?"

Jason decided in this moment that it would be best to tell the truth. He'd done enough lying to Kurt and obviously it wasn't helping anyone.

"Yeah, um, that's Sebastian. He's the new captain."

"Introduce me?" Kurt smiled at him and Jason nodded, leading them over to the table just as Blaine was mentioning his boyfriend.

"Seb? What are you doing?" Jason asked warily, pulling chairs up for he and Kurt.

Jason's presence seemed to startle Sebastian and he nervously fumbled a bit, looking for a less incriminating excuse as Jason's hand found his thigh under the table.

"Blaine here was just telling me about his lovely boyfriend." Sebastian gave a less than genuine smile, looking down at Jason's hand with wide eyes. Truthfully he couldn't remember a singular time Jason had touched him like this.

Blaine chuckled nervously. "Right. Um, honey, this is Sebastian. He's the new captain for the Warblers. And this is my Kurt."

"Pleasure." Kurt plastered on his best bitch smirk as he went in for a handshake and Jason found himself chuckling into his fist.
