Makoto

When she showed me her hands, I gasped, then hugged her.

"Kyoko I am so sorry for this having to have happened to you." I said quietly, hugging her tighter.

Kyoko was obviously taken by surprise with my reaction, but nevertheless hugged me back.

I could feel a smile slowly forming on her face.

"I love you Makoto." She said.

"I love you too, Kyoko. Can we go back to bed now? It's still only, like, three-ish and I wanna have an excuse to cuddle with you still."

Kyoko laughed and laid back down, hugging me.

I hugged her back but never actually fell asleep, only thinking.

"Makoto, you need to sleep." Kyoko mumbled, glancing up at me.

"I will, don't worry." I say, closing my eyes.

I could feel Kyoko's steady breaths on my chest, where her head laid. 

A small smile crossed my face.

The sound of her evened breaths and soft sound of early birds drifted me into a half sleep sort of thing, where I was aware of my surroundings but would not and could not move. 

Nor did I want to.

Around 3 hours later, but it only felt like 5 minutes, Kyoko shifted.

"Makoto?"

"Right here." I say, opening my eyes.

She smiled up at me.

Light had just begun to pour into the room, and I was fully able to see Kyoko's face.

Holy cow, she looked adorable when just waking up.

"Good morning." I smiled at her, kissing her nose.

"Good morning Makotoooo!" She sat up, hugging me tightly.

"Ahem, did I walk in on something?" Hina smirked, handing us a box of donuts. "There was extras."

"You ok Hina?" Kyoko asked.

"Yes, why?"

"There usually isn't any extras..." Kyoko said.

"Oh. I already had an entire box. I'm gonna go work it off at the pool, see y'all later!"

Hina gave us the peace sign then ran out, grinning stupidly.

"Why do I have a feeling the "pool" includes a bit of Sakura in the mix." Kyoko shook her head.

"Huh?" I asked, not comprehending and fully understand what Kyoko meant by that.

"Nothing, Makoto, stay innocent." Kyoko said, kissing my head then grabbing a donut.

I got one for myself, doing my typical routine with donuts.

First the sprinkles, then the icing, then the donut itself.

"Strange... why not just eat all the opponents in one bite?" Kyoko asked.

I shrugged, "I dunno, I just like eating donuts this way!"

"You're way too innocent, and I love that."

I blushed, covering my face.

"Kyokoooooooo-"

"Makotoooooooo." She mocked teasingly, kissing my cheek. "You're so adorable when you blushhhhhh."

Someone knocked on the door.

Kyoko raised an eyebrow, "Hina?"

Hina opened the door.

"One last thing." She threw a bag of pocky at us. "Tell me who wins!"

She closed the door and left again.

"Pocky, strawberry pocky! Yummmm!" I said, grabbing a stick and eating one.

"We are doing the pocky challenge now?" Kyoko questioned.

"Sure!" I put a full one in my mouth and did the whole pocky challenge with her.

Kyoko won because I got embarrassed. I mean, I dunno why...

"Why are you getting embarrassed?" She chuckled. "Do I need to kiss you more often so that you're not embarrassed when I kiss you?"

"UH sure?" I say, blushing. Kyoko kissed me, smiling into the kiss.

I smiled as well, enjoying the moment long kiss.

"Kyoko, I have to go now." I say quietly.

"Why? Where?" She asked, not demanding, just curious.

"We have a panel, remember? We're going as Harry Potter people again."

"Oooohhh right." She nodded. "I'll pick you up latter, love you!"

"Love you too."

I hugged her, giving her a quick kiss, then ran out, driving myself home.
