Klaus dropped me back at the Salvatores and said he was going to see Caroline, lucky girl. He wasn't as bad as I initially thought, and how Caroline made him out. Klaus was sweet, misunderstood and a little bit of a psycho, but sweet.

Before he drove off, he looked out the window and smiled to me, "Remember, there's always a home for you with us."

"Thanks Klaus. I'll keep it in mind." I smiled and waved, "I'll see you soon."

"Best be soon, Olivia Mikaelson." he smiled with a wink and drove off down the drive and out of sight.

I walked in and found the brothers in the library, looking as though they were deep in conversation. I brought them up to speed from our trip to see Jade. "And I said I'd keep a look out for Christies necklace."

"Any idea where it may be?" Stefan asked, handing me a bottle of water

"Nope. Not seen one when I was packing boxes. So who knows" I sighed and got up off the couch, "I'm gonna eat, want anything?" I asked the boys, walking towards the kitchen, but they didn't respond. I turned to look at them and they were staring off into the distance. "Hello? Earth to the Salvatores?" I waved my hand in front of Stefan and then Damon's face, snapping them out of their daydreams.

"Hu? What?" Stefan said, shaking his head and looking over.

"Sorry, zoned out there..." Damon's voice trailed off as he spoke before his eyes glazed over again.

"Damon?" I asked, moving in front of him and kneeling down to look into his eyes, "You OK?"

"What if she was buried with it?" he blurted out

"Who with what?" I asked

"Christie" Stefan replied, making me turn my head to him, "What if she was buried with her necklace?"

"OK, do you boys share like a psychic connection or something?" I stood back up, confused how they were both thinking the same thing.

"Think about it; she didn't give it to her sister," Damon started.

"She killed her mother so must not have cared about the family or the legacy." Stefan added

"She always wanted to be a vampire, why she asked me to turn her...." Damon looked at me as he spoke. My eyes shot to the floor, forgetting for a moment that they had something, well, just a thing. Not something. Not like us.... or will he do that to me too? Make me feel like we've got something, like he did Christie, and then turn me? Maybe Christie didn't want to be a vampire... "Sorry. I don't talk much about it..."

"No, it's fine. I don't want you to" I pushed a smile on to my face as took a deep breath in, "So, she was out for her family. Without her necklace then magic would die and if she couldn't be a vampire, no one could." I summarized it all, trying to push the thoughts out my head. "So let's dig her up."

"Whoa. That's a jump." Stefan grabbed my arm as I went to walk away.

"Remember, Liz said that they had buried her in your garden so people didn't go looking or asking questions. If she was in a grave with the headstone, every magical being would be wanting to dig her up to get the necklace to keep magic going. So, what better place than the back garden of vampires?" I explained smiling, "So come on, grab a shovel and lets go!" I clapped and walked out the room.

Back in the room, the boys were lagging behind....

"You seem to have really rubbed off on her" Stefan smirked as they watched Olivia leave to dig up a body. Something she would never have thought to do before meeting them.

"Yeah, seems like you rubbed off on her too" Damon gave Stefan a side look.

"Damon, I ..." Stefan started, but Damon was having none of it.

"Look, you said it all earlier, I heard." Damon butted in, referring to their conversation before Olivia had walked in on them, "I just can't believe you told her to break up with me just so you could sleep with her!"

"I didn't tell her to break up with you. I told her to do what she wants and not think about other people for once." Stefan defended himself to the best of his ability, but he knew what he did was wrong, he just wouldn't admit it to Damon. Or himself.

"Oh and doing you is what makes her happy?!"

"Well it did at the time." Stefan snarked back. Damons fist cracked against Stefans jaw. Stefan stumbled backwards a bit before finding his feet again. "I don't know why you're so pissed off at me. She's back with you, right? She obviously wants to be with you. She chose you, Damon! Why are you getting so angry with me?"

"Because you're my brother!" Damon screamed at him, completely pissed off with Stefan, "Always family. But you always do this! You knew I loved Katherine, and you stole her from me!"

"Katherine didn't love you though!"

"Elena? Again, you knew I liked her but you had to get in there before I had the chance!"

"Again, she didn't want you and chose me! Like Olivia is doing now, except she is choosing YOU, Damon! No matter what you do, or how scared she is of you, she is choosing you!"

"She's not scared of me. Why should she be scared of me?"

"Because you're just like her father! Just like our father too!" Stefan shouted at his brother; Damon just wasn't understanding it. "You get angry, you resort to violence, and it scares her! That fight we had in the bedroom? She was scared of you, of us! Couldn't you see it on her face?"

"I....I didn't think...." Damon stuttered out, was he really the only one who didn't see Olivia was scared of him?

"Yeah, that's the problem. You don't think! You act now and worry about anything and everything else later."

"Because sometimes you need to. That's what gets the job done!"

"At what expense? Losing Olivia? You notice she's still living out of the suitcases!? I invited her to live with us, because she needed us!" Stefan sighed, looking his brother up and down, "I'm now wondering whether you need her more than she needs you..."

Damon was quiet for a moment, "Where do we go from here, then?"

"Let's draw a line in the sand, go help Liv dig up her uncles killer, and then a clean slate. Start over, for all of us."

"Deal."
