I needed female company. So the next day I called Matt to ask if Caroline wanted a girly day. Luckily she said yes so I went over to hers.

I knocked on the door and waited for her to answer. The door swung open to reveal, "Elena?"

"Morning Olivia." Elena smiled and stepped aside to let me in. "They're in the kitchen making drinks."

I wondered through the hall to a distant chatter. In the kitchen I found Bonnie and Caroline pouring orange juice into champagne glasses, "hey!" Caroline smiled as she came over to me and hugged me, "so glad you called! Feels like we haven't hung out."

"Because we haven't" Elena piped in as she came into the room.

"Yeah..." I said quietly as I joined them at the table, "I was in need of some female company. Stefan and Damon can only do so much." I smiled as I sat down and Bonnie handed me an OJ.

"What do you mean?" Elena questioned as I sipped my drink

Could I play with this? Stefan obviously didn't tell her.... "Oh, I'm staying with them until I figure out what I'm doing. Didn't Stefan tell you?"

"No. No he didn't." She seemed really pissed off. Felt kinda good. But also kinda sucky. More good though...

"Oh well. That doesn't matter right now. What we all need is some girly chat." Caroline smiled and grabbed some chips and popcorn before heading out of the kitchen.

We followed her to the bedroom and all sat around the room, getting ourselves comfortable.

"So Olivia, are you enjoying Mystic Falls?"
Bonnie asked with a lovely kind smile. She always seemed so bubbly and positive, no matter what was going on. She was a little ray of sunshine.

"Yeah. Yeah I am. Matts been amazing. Jeremy thankfully is being nice. And Tyler is..." I wondered off a bit, not knowing what to say about him. I looked over to Caroline who looked anxious to what I was to say next, "he's been great too. Like a big brother." I saw Caroline's body relax and a smile creep on to her face.

"That's so good. We all want to make you feel welcome here." Bonnie smiled, emphasising the "all" and looked over to Elena when she said it.

"It's been a great week. Apart from the whole Damon getting staked thing." I took a sip of my drink and looked down to the floor

"Oh yeah, have you guys found out anything about that?" Elena asked, looking over to Caroline

"No. There was nothing in the woods and nothing since. It was so random." Caroline opened up a bag of popcorn and started munching away.

"Can you...do you.... I mean...." I stuttered, not knowing how to ask the questions

"Can I eat?" Caroline smiled and I nodded, "yes and no. Like, I can eat. I do eat. But it doesn't fill me up. Surely Damon or Stefan have told you these things?"

I looked round to the other two girls. Bonnie just looked like she was interested in the conversation. Not invested or wanted to know, just as if she was listening and will take it all on board. Whereas Elena was frowning, listening to every word and over analysing it.

"No. Not really." I sighed before leaning to the end and grabbing some chips "we never really talk about that whole side of them."

"Then what do you talk about?" Elena asked

Wanna dig any deeper Elena? Nosey much. "Not much. But I feel really close to them, you know? Like I can trust them with anything." I smiled as I munched away at the chips.

Elena put her glass down and stood up, "excuse me. Bathroom" she walked out the door closing it behind her. We stayed silent for a few moments, just the chewing of chips and popcorn could be heard.

"Did I say something wrong?" I asked, looking between Bonnie and Caroline.

"No, not at all" Caroline reached out and took my shoulder, "she's just a little annoyed with Stefan. He's hardly spoken to her and I guess she's annoyed he didn't tell her you moved in with him."

"It wasn't my first choice." I sighed as I sunk lower.

"I'm gonna go check on her" Bonnie said, also putting her drink down and walking out the room.

Once she shut the door I jumped onto the bed next to Caroline, "didn't Stefan tell you I wanted a girly day of just me and you?"

Caroline's face fell and she covered her mouth, "oh my god! I'm so sorry! He didn't say! Plus, I thought it would I be nice for us all. Get to know you and everything."

"It's ok. It's just I never got on with Elena and it's... really weird being here with her."

"Why?" She frowned before I sighed and told her about my dream of Stefan. "Oh my god! Do you like him?"

"I don't know!" I half whispered and half shouted, falling back into the bed. "I mean, he's so nice. He's been amazing to me." I paused as I thought if Damon, "Damon is something else..."

"Oh no! Don't go there!"

"But why not? He's exciting. At the same time I know I shouldn't but, you only live once." I looked Caroline up and down, "or twice plus in the case of vampires." I laughed to myself at the awkwardness

Caroline laughed too, thank god. "Those Salvatore brothers get every girls panties in a twist. You just need to be prepared to get hurt."

I knew she was right. I saw the way every girl looked at them when they were out, staring as if no one else saw. As if the boys did t see either. But I could tell they knew. Little smirks or the cocky attitude... they knew people were looking. But maybe I won't get hurt? Yeah, and I wonder how many have said that!
