It had been three days of sitting in the cell in the basement. Stefan brought me food and drinks, he even brought me a book to read. I finished that quite quickly though. Most the time, my mind ran. 100 different thoughts in my head and I couldn't stop and answer any of them.

Damon had taken my ring before he locked me in here. That was the last time I saw him. He hadn't been down since and I missed him like mad. I just wanted him to come say hello. Once a day would be fine. Just so I could see him, touch him, kiss him.

"Alright Olivia." I looked up to see Tyler smiling through the bars, "brought you a burger."

"Thanks" I sighed as the bars clanged, the door opened and Tyler came to sit with me for a bit. He leaned against the door so I couldn't get out. "So how is everyone?"

"They're all good. Missing you." He took a bite out of his own burger as I picked at mine.

"Doubt it. Damon hasn't visited. Neither has Caroline or Bonnie." I took a bit of the burger and thought about my friends.

Were they really my friends?

Of course they aren't.
They haven't come to see you!

"Oh my god she's still here!" I dropped my burger and held my head, squeezing my eyes closed right. "It's like she's messing with me!"

"Liv?" I head Tyler get up. He ran over and placed a hand on my shoulder, "Liv? Olivia!" He shouted, shaking my shoulders. But I couldn't open my eyes. My head pounded as I tried to fight the voice out my head. I didn't want it there any more! "Damon! Stefan!"

I heard heavy footsteps run down the metal stairs outside the cell and the door swing open with a clang, hitting the wall.

"Olivia!" Damon's voice was right by my ear, "Olivia, can you hear me?"

I opened my eyes and saw Damon right next me, Tyler on the other side and Stefan by the door. "Please. I don't want to hear her any more!" I cried. Damon wrapped his arms around me, "I thought this was suppose to help?"

"We thought it might" Stefan sighed, "obviously it hasn't. Let's all go back up."

Stefan and Tyler walked out the cell, leaving Damon and I just sitting in the floor, holding each other. I didn't want to let go.

We were finally back upstairs and Bonnie was sat on the library couch, "I think I found something."

I looked between everyone. Matt, Caroline and Elena were also here.

"This can get spirits from things. If a spirit has been placed inside this ring, this will get them out. But not disconnect them from the ring. They won't go anywhere, but we can at least talk to them rather than only Olivia hear them." Bonnie explained as I sat next to her.

"What do I need to do?" I asked. I felt deflated. I just couldn't do this any more, this person was making my life hell. And I had no idea why.

"First, you need to wear the ring again" Bonnie started, looking over to Damon

"No way! She is not putting that back on!" He shouted over to her. Fear washed over his face as he looked in my direction, "You find something else BonBon because like I've said for the past three days, there is no way I'm letting her put that ring back on."

"She's become some sort of anchor. Between this spirit and this world. She needs to wear it so I can do the spell." Bonnie looked over to me and took my hand, "I don't want you to put it on either. But I don't have any other way." We both looked at each other, plea in her eyes.

"Ok. What happens then?" I asked. From the corner of my eye I saw Damon walk over to the bourbon, pick up the bottle before slamming it back down and walking out the room.

"I do this spell, and they take over your body."

That sounds scary. "So I won't be in control?"

Bonnie shook her head. "You'll hear everything, but you wouldn't be able to do anything about it."

Elena sighs, "and what if she tries to kill me again?" I looked up to her, not knowing she knew it was my fault she nearly drowned or bled to death. "Yeah, thank Damon for that little tidbit. He's let us in on everything! I can't believe you tried to kill me!"

"Elena, stop! It wasn't her fault." Stefan defended me, holding on to Elenas shoulder. "Whoever that is, it's making her think these things. Or doing them. We need to talk to them."

"Fine. Let's do it." I stood up and took in a deep breath. Now or never.
