The Originals X Katherine Pierce

Chapter 23

I don't know how long it's been since Klaus bit me but it feels like forever. Hayley and Elijah both bring me into the little house and lay me down on what looks like a cot. 

"I'm going to grab some water from the bayou and wet this cloth." Hayley says  

She leaves and Elijah comes to my side and covers me with a blanket. I can start to feel the sweat dripping down my face and hitting my chest. Hayley comes back in and presses the damp cloth to my forhead. 

"She's going to need lots of blood. Katerina, do you think Hayley will be safe with you?" Elijah asks 

"For now, Elijah. Please be quick, I don't want to hurt the baby." I groan 

Elijah nods his head and quickly speeds off. I listen as Elijah pulls his phone out and calls Rebekah. The more hot I get, the more I try to fall asleep. 

Elijah's POV

I get to the house and Klaus is in the living room reading a book all nonchalant. I speed over to him, grab the book, and throw it against the wall. I grab Niklaus by the neck and slam him into the wall. 

"You go back to  bayou and give Katerina your blood, now!" I yell 

Niklaus looks down at me and smirks. "No." He says 

"I told you if you ever hurt her that I would kill you." I threaten 

"I can't be killed, you know this Elijah." He brags 

I let go of him and he walks away without a scratch. I try to plead with him to cure Katerina but he ignores me. 

"She was trying to kill me! Did you know that?" He asks 

"No, I didn't." I state 

"Anyone tries to kill me, I kill them. It's that simple. I won't heal her and that's final." 

"Niklaus, if she dies at your hands, I will NEVER forgive you. Oh, and I know where the white oak stake is. If she dies, you die." I threaten  

I speed off and get to the nearest hospital, grab some blood bags, and go back to the bayou. I get there and Hayley's on the porch. 

"There you are, what took you so long?" She questions 

"I went to speak with Niklaus, he won't heal her." I answer 

"Do you need me to kick his ass? I bet I can get some blood out of him." She smiles 

"It's best you not, I'll get his blood one way or another." 

I hear Katherine yell out in pain and both Hayley and I run into the house. Katerina is rolling around on the bed and talking to herself. 

"What's happening?" Hayley asks 

"She's hallucinating. It's one of the results of a werewolf bite." I state 

"Pleasure, My Lord." 

Flashback 1492

Present

Katherine's POV

I shoot up and look around me. Both Hayley and Elijah are sitting next to me, Elijah ready with a blood bag. I take a sip of it but once it goes down my throat I cough it back up and get it all over my chest and shirt. Elijah wipes off the blood best he can as I smile at him.
