Tatia checks around the corner and waves us in, the sound of Esther's shackles behind me. I look over to see both Kol and Finn still cuffed to the stairwell bars. Their eyes widen at I'm guessing the state of their mother's face.

"Mother, are you okay?" Finn asks, struggling against his chains

"I'm fine, son. Katherine is here to free us all so we can finally kill Klaus." She smiles

Tatia looks over at me and her face is covered in sadness like she regrets even helping us. Esther furrows her brows at us and then it becomes clear to her.

"Tatia, you've regained feeling for my sons?" She asks

"I- no. I just feel bad that they have to die for something you did to them. That's all." She frowns

"I guess it's a good thing you aren't here to feel bad-" Esther pauses and looks up to see Klaus standing at the banister upstairs

"Ouch, Mother looks like you pissed Katherine off." He smirks, walking down the stairs

I stand up straighter and push my shoulders back as I wrap my hand around Esther's arm, shoving her towards Klaus. "Here, she's annoying me."

"Done with her already? That's a shame." He shrugs his shoulders. "I don't want her though." He pushes her back towards me

"Niklaus, where are you!?" I hear Elijah yell as he comes across from the room he was in

He looks down at his mother for a split second before he comes in direct eye contact with me, a twinge of regret coursing through me because now he's going to see his little brother die. I give him an apologetic look as I reach into my pocket taking out the key to the shackles, undoing her chains. Esther rubs her wrist as Klaus and Elijah's faces both cover in shock.

"I'm sorry, Elijah, but I just can't let Klaus live." I frown

Klaus growls and starts to dart towards me when he falls to his knees, bones breaking. I look behind me to see Davina coming through the door, her hand twisted in a spell. Klaus yells out in pain as Elijah speeds down towards us, Esther stopping him in his tracks. I run over to Kol and Finn and unlock their cuffs as well.

"You bitch!" Klaus spits at me

I walk towards him as he is still withering in pain and bend down to his level. I place my hand on his shoulder and just shake my head at him.

"I might be a bitch, but at least I'm not a dog." I get up and motion for Davina to stop

Klaus takes a moment to get up as he speeds over to me, throwing me to the ground. He goes to hit me but I dodge it and I smile as his fist hits the concrete cracking it. He grabs me from my shirt and snatches me from the ground, throwing me into the adjacent wall. I drag myself from the ground and look at him as I laugh. He walks fast towards me and is just a foot from me when Davina starts chanting again, this time causing him to start coughing up blood. He falls to his knees and that's when I kick him in his face.

"Katherine!" I hear someone yell and turn to see Hayley heading straight towards me

"Hayley, stay out of this or I'll have to kill you too." I threaten, turning towards her

"If that's how it has to be." She cracks her neck before she runs at me, connecting her fist to my cheek

I go to hit her but she grabs my arm and bites straight into it, a yell of pain leaves my mouth. If she wants to do this, we can. I release myself from her grip and push her back and she falls to the ground. I walk over to her and look down.

"Sorry, Hayley." I say before wrapping my hands around her throat and snapping it

I take a moment to myself before I make my way back over to Klaus who is still on his back in pain. I reach into my jacket pocket and take out the stake I've been carrying around all day, moving it around in my hand.

"Davina, you can stop now. You know Klaus, this all could have been avoided if you didn't ruin my life." I state, tracing my finger down to the sharp point.

"I didn't ruin your life, you did that when you tried to kill me!" He shouts

"You started this Klaus, five hundred years ago when you killed my family. You deserve everything that's coming to you. Any last words before you die?" I taunt him, pressing the tip over his heart

He looks up at me and to my surprise, I see a face of pure fear. I cock my head to the side and examine his face some more and he still says nothing. "Nothing? I didn't think so."

I start to move the stake further into his heart when I'm stopped by the out yell of Elijah across the room. "Stoooooop!"

I look up to him and he looks at Klaus before turning his face to look at me. "Katerina, please. I know you're angry, but you're better than this." His face saddens

"But I'm not Elijah, I'm not better than this. If I don't kill him-." I pause

"I get it, I do. You think that if you don't kill him that means you lost, you think if you don't kill him the more and more you see him that'll show you just how much you and Niklaus are actually alike."

"I'm nothing like him!" I shout

"But you are. You're insecure, paranoid, and you feel like it's you against the world but I'm telling you, Katerina, I love you and I'm here with you. Me and you together, always and forever." He smiles

I feel as a tear drops from my eye as I look away from Elijah and back at Klaus who has said nothing, his face still in fear. I shake my head and wipe the tear away from my eye.

"I'm sorry, Elijah." I apologize before I move the stake further

"Wait." I hear a plea from Klaus "Before you kill me, I have something to tell you." He looks over to Elijah who's shaking his head

"Nothing is going to change my mind Klaus, not even the man I love." I look over to a sad Elijah

"My daughter is alive." It's that simple statement that pulls me away from Elijah and I look back at Klaus

"What?" I ask

"Her name is Hope, Hope Mikaelson. If you kill me, she'll grow up without a father, you know what it's like to grow up without a father don't you?" He asks

I lower the stake from his heart as I start to back away and Esther comes to stand beside me. "Don't listen to him, Katherine. His daughter is dead, this is a trick."

I look towards her and I shake my head. "I'm sorry Esther, but I believe him. Kol, please." I motion my head towards Finn.

"Gladly." Kol smiles as he snaps his fingers, his brother and mother falling to the ground

I fall to my knees and a sob courses through my body and out my throat as I scream out into the compound. Without hesitation, a pair of arms wrap around my body and I know it's Elijah because of his smell.

"I'm so sorry, Elijah, I didn't know. I swear, I wouldn't have-" I stop, tears streaming down my face non-stop

"Shh, it's okay, Katerina. I love you, shhh." He soothes, hugging me tighter

We sit there for a while as I just listen to the conversations around us, Davina and Kol have left and Klaus is talking to Hayley and telling her that he told me. Elijah finally brings me up from the floor and wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me up into his arms.

"I'm taking her upstairs Niklaus."

I watch as Klaus just nods his head as he watches Elijah carry me up the stairs, my head buried in his chest. Elijah lays me down on his bed and places a blanket over my body and a kiss on my forehead. A moment after he comes into bed and pulls me into him.

"Goodnight, Katerina."
