Seven months. Seven months since I left New Orleans and the love of my life. Mystic Falls is the last place I ever thought I would go back to, alone at least. I've got myself a nice little apartment, not too far from the only good coffee shop here, and I've even apologized for everything I did to Stefan, Damon, Elena, and the rest of the scooby gang. They don't really like that name but it's funny. I've started a diary, clearly, and it's actually nice to write out all my thoughts and feelings. It took Stefan awhile to convince me but I finally caved in. So life is pretty okay right now.

I grab my coffee off the counter and make my way outside. I'm stopped by something and look up to see Damon and Elena.
"Hey, guys. Nice to see you." I smile
"Hi. You still coming to my birthday party?" Elena asks
"That's today?" I ask
"Yup, they'll be bourbon." Damon chimes
"Of course. Yeah, I'll be there. I'm bringing the ice." I shrug my shoulders
"How much ice did Caroline want you to get?"
"I don't know like three bags, I thought it was just going to be us." I raise my brow
"It was supposed to be but Caroline wanted a huge party seeing as my last one wasn't the greatest." She looks away
"Oh yeah, the whole Stefan thing. Speaking of Caroline and Stefan, they start dating yet?" I laugh
"Nope, Caroline is waiting for him to make the move. So unlike her, I know." Elena smiles
"Stefan might take a while on that." Damon smirks
"Well, I'm going to get out of your hair. See you tonight." I smile and walk-off
I go to the boutique and shop for a dress and a gift for Elena. Getting a gift for my doppelganger that I tried to get killed. Weird, I know. Being friends with everyone is still a little foreign to me with everything I did. Damon is actually still a little mad but he's warming up, I can feel it. I pick Elena up a new diary because the one she has now is almost full and a butterfly necklace.
