The Originals X Katherine Pierce

Chapter 15

She lets go of my hand and walks closer to Stefan and Damon and she does her  "villain"  stance. They stare at her in disbelief as well with Caroline and Elena and I can tell she's smiling at them. 

"We wonder where you went. You just up and left Mystic Falls." Damon starts 

"Awe, did you miss me?" She asks teasingly  

"As if. I see you got your "friend" back." He smiles, mockingly 

"So..." She walks past them and straight to the bourbon, pouring herself a glass "... I heard you have a Silas problem. Sorry about that." She shrugs her shoulder 

She grabs another glass and pours another bourbon and walks back over to us and hands me the glass. She turns back to the lot by the couches and takes a sip out of her glass. 

"Why are you here, Katherine?" Elena asks 

"I felt bad that I'm the reason you're dealing with Silas, seeing as I had to kill your brother for that cure. Speaking of, what happened to that?" She takes another sip 

She knows Katherine is trying to get under her skin so she just ignores her and turns to me, her face unpleased for some reason. 

"Elijah, what happened to the 'mistake you'll never make again'?" 

"What kind of man would I be if I didn't give my dear Katerina another chance? Elena, we didn't come for you to question my choices in life." I state 

"Yeah, considering you slept with Damon like what... one day after your breakup with Stefan." Katerina laughs 

Elena speeds towards Katerina and pins her against the wall, fangs baring, her glass dropping and breaking on the floor. Katherine smiles at Elena mockingly and within a second Katherine has her on the ground by her throat. She bares her fangs as well and smiles in between. Damon goes to race over to Elena and Klaus stops him by getting in his way, surprising me.

"I wouldn't do that, friend. Elena started it, now Katherine is finishing it." 

As Klaus finishes his statement Katerina smiles over at him and focuses her eyes back on her weaker doppelganger. I decide that I've let Katerina have her fun and I look over at her. 

"Katerina, let the girl go." I demand 

"Oh, but Elijah. I'm having too much fun, do you know how easy it would be to kill her right now?" I can hear the excitement in her voice 

"Katherine." I simply say 

She groans and pushing up off at Elena's throat, she gets up off the floor and walks towards me. Next thing I know she grabs me by the tie and presses a kiss to my lips, now she's just showing off. For a second I lean a little farther down and lean into her kiss, a few flicks of my tongue against hers, and she moans. She finally lets my tie go and with one last look at the group she licks the corner of my mouth. She finally stops and stands by my side while Elena finally gets off the ground with the help of Damon. 

"Well, now that we've got the pleasantries out of the way, tell me about Silas. Katerina?" I turn towards her 

"Yes?" She bats her eyelashes at me 

"Ask your question again, I don't think Miss Gilbert quite heard you." I smile at her 

She mouths I love you and I wink at her. Now let's get down to business. 

"So the cure, what happened to it? Did Silas take it?"  She asks 

"Well, it kind of got lost. You've missed A LOT this summer and the past few months. Silas's ex came back from the dead, fried Stefan's memories, gave them back, and oh, we have a new doppelganger in town." Damon states 

"What does that mean?" Klaus questions 

"It's something we found out over the summer, Stefan's a doppelganger and Silas looks exactly like him. Something about the universe needing a shadow self to die in place of him and his one true love, Amara." Damon adds 

"Whose Amara?" I chip in 

"She's one of them." Damon points to Katerina 

"What does that mean?" Katherine asks 

"Amara is the original doppelganger." Stefan says 

"That's impossible. Tatia is the original." 

Caroline stands up from the couch and walks towards all of us. You won't believe what she says next. 

"We have her tied up in the basement, she has the cure, it's currently running through her veins." 

"Wait a minute, this is all very confusing. You're telling me there is another one of us?" Katherine asks 

"Yup." 

"Where's the Bennett witch? Why couldn't she help?" 

I look around and I just noticed that she is nowhere to be seen.

"She's dead. So we called you because you were the first two people we thought about." 

"I wanna see her." Katherine blurts out 

Damon says nothing and just nods his head and walks off. I know just where they're going, I was daggered down there for a minute. We go down two flights of stairs and then through a couple of doors, past Damon's blood supply to stand in front of the door. 

"I'm warning you, she's crazy. She's been trying to take her life ever since she took the cure." 

Damon opens the door and I can see the shock cross Katerina's face when she sees this so-called 'Amara'. And Amara has the same face as Katherine. Katerina walks into the room and kneels down to Amara. She extends her hand but then quickly moves it when she sees her tied up. 

"So this is where I get my incredibly good looks, there's not much to her." 

"Why do you guys look like me?" Amara asks 

"Sweetie, I just thought there were three of us..." She looks back at me and Klaus "... this is Klaus and Elijah. They were in love with another with your face. Her name was Tatia, they're first love." She looks back at Amara after she says that. 

"Who are you?" She asks soft and quiet 

"I'm Katherine Pierce, but you can call me Katherine."
